from an 1hr late, then driving around not being told what was happening - people being late/left behind etc.. it wasn't a great start but our guide: was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. A few to many people in the group for our liking - so we stayed at Birgu for lunch and the Fort St.Angelo and got a ferry back to Valletta ourselves..

The tour was a good walking tour through the2 cities and the guide gave a lot of interesting cultural, historical and architectural insights. We had a brief stop for an opportunity to buy a mid morning snack. The tour ended with a Latrice across the harbor which was a nice touch. This tour was a good intro to the area and I wish I had had the time on another day to go back on my own visit some sites th at couldn t be part of a half day tour. Since st. Lawrence church is in the title I was a little disappointed that we couldnt at least go inside to see it for a few minutes. All we did was walk by it. The guide did double duty explaining everything in English and French but she did it expertly. That also helped my French which needs some help. I am glad I took this tour and would recommend it.

A nice 4 hour tour of the three cities. It includes a boat ride in a small motor boat around the 3 harbours surrounding valetta. Then a walk through historic Vittoriosa when our russian guide Anna told us about the history of the Knights of St john and the 3 cities. We passed by St Lawrence Church but it was not open.

Good quick look at Senglea and Vittoriosa. Tour guide Janique ? was great. St Lawrence Church is very impressive. Maritime Museum is okay. Because of this tour I returned later to Vittoriosa to visit the Inquisitor's Palace.

A good tour, but too much time allocated to the Maritime Museum. More walking through the winding lanes of Viittoriosa would have been more interesting. Our guide Janique was lovely.

There was me and another guy turned up, so it was nice to have just the two of us. The tour guide was very informative and I asked her lots of questions, not just about the tour but of Malta! She was really nice and could answer all the questions. For the price, I think it was worth it. I got picked up from Sliema and we visited the places. You get to see that part of Malta, and even driving there is nice because you can look down the narrow winding streets of that area. The museum at the end isn't outstanding, quite small, but it's okay for a Maritime museum. Though, if you get bored with the museum at the end, you can go for a wander and meet back for the pick up and nearby there are lots of amazing boats docked up and just the area is nice to look at. Overall, I'd recommend it, especially for the price of what could be a meal out in Malta.

Malta is a small island, but there is so much to see and their history is so vast that this tour was a great introduction to the Maltese culture. There are also some very photogenic stops throughout the tour and even a break at a local coffee shop to have a traditional snack of "pastizzi," a flaky pastry filled with ricotta. Have a few euros on hand for the pastizzi, as it's not included with the tour.
