Great hands on experience making pizza, bread and pasta from scratch! Learned a lot and got to enjoy eating what we made - along with some nice Sicilian wine! Definitely recommend giving this tour a try. Big fun!

What an awesome way to learn how to make pizza and more. My husband and I loved this class. I would highly recommend this class.

This class is amazing and much more than just pizza making. Luca and his team of chefs where fantastic. We made bread, pasta, pizza, fish and eggplant parmigiana to name a few. This is must perfect introduction to Sicilian cuisine.

Terrific, this was one of the highlights of our two week trip. We made bread, pasta, and pizza. I thought they'd let us sprinkle a little cheese on the crust and call it a day, But that was not what we did. We started by making the crust, added the topping, used the wooden thingie peal? to put it in and take it out of the oven. We ate everything we made, plus cannoli and wine. It was a fun group, great instructors, and a very cute restaurant right in the center of town. After the class we were able to wander the town a little and stroll up to the Roman theatre. This was a very fun way to spend the morning I highly recommend it.

Our whole family had a great time during this activity at the Porta Messina Ristorante-Pizzeria. Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make our activity enjoyable. Advertised as a pizza-making class, we did much more than make pizza. They offer cooking classes and pizza-making classes and participants for both activities spent some time together making pasta and some other items as a warm-up. We then split off into our respective classes either the cooking class or pizza-making class. After the class, everyone regrouped to eat and celebrate. Everyone in our family received personalized master pizza-maker certificates at the end of the activity, much to my children's delight. Overall, it was a fun morning/early afternoon and I highly recommend it!

It starts with coffee and fruit. We then made macaroni and pizza dough from scratch. I really enjoyed being able to put my own ingredients on it. Also, the bakers pizza throwing display. White or red wine is served with the meal, along with still water and antipasto. We requested an email of the recipe but the owner only emailed us a thanks-for-coming email that did not have the recipe. Hence, 4 stars.

Not just pizza making, but a good morning of activity and food with my teenage niece and nephew. On arrival we were offered fresh fruit and coffee and our won aprons before starting to make bread rolls for the restaurant. Once these were out of the oven we had a platter of salami, proscuitto and cheese to go with the warm bread. Next we learnt how to make pasta dough and form macaroni using a thin stick. The waiters joined in telling us these were skills they had learnt from their grandmothers as small children. As soon as there was a great pile prepared we then went on to make pizza dough, select toppings and put them into the roaring hot oven Finally we had our pizzas and pasta for lunch. Fantastic class, great fun for young and old alike
