Dopo il prelievo dal tuo hotel di Sydney, il tour per piccoli gruppi ti condurrà fuori dalla città per visitare un parco faunistico australiano. Arrivando prima delle folle di visitatori, potrai incontrare da vicino gli animali selvatici. Potrai dare da mangiare a wallaby, canguri ed emu in libertà presso il parco, sede di animali piccoli e grandi, viscidi, squamosi, morbidi e pelosi. Potresti anche incontrare un koala!

Il tè e il caffè mattutini vengono serviti presso il parco faunistico mentre incontri gli animali.

Lasciato il parco, il tour ti conduce lungo la superstrada verso la Hunter Valley, che si annida a ridosso del Great Dividing Range. Da 180 anni, questa è una delle regioni vinicole più antiche e apprezzate dell'Australia. È una zona dinamica e affascinante che offre oltre 150 aziende vinicole di prima classe, 65 ristoranti, aziende di produzione gastronomica gourmet e birrerie.

In questo giorno visiterai qualche cantina artigianale di lusso della Hunter Valley, orientata soprattutto a produzioni di piccola scala di vini difficili da ottenere. Assaggia le annate locali e scopri la differenza tra uno chardonnay e un pinot nero.

La prima visita è a una cantina a 5 stelle immersa nella regione di Mount View nella Hunter Valley. Qui, potrai partecipare a un'esclusiva degustazione privata di vini tipici di questa area vinicola.

La visita successiva è Leogate Estate. Il cordiale staff di Leogate Estate ti guiderà attraverso un'ampia gamma di vini, che potrai degustare insieme a una selezione di formaggi. I formaggi scelti si abbinano perfettamente ai rinomati vini. In seguito, visiterai l'azienda vinicola e la cantina, dove ti verrà spiegato il processo di vinificazione.

Goditi un rilassante pranzo da 2 portate (se hai selezionato questa opzione). Avrai a disposizione una scelta da una selezione di piatti, accompagnati da un bicchiere di vino e seguita da un dessert che potrai scegliere fra i 2 a disposizione.

Dopo il pranzo, sosta presso la cittadina di Hunter, dove potrai visitare il negozio di cioccolato o le boutique e partecipare a un'ultima degustazione di vino in una cantina locale.

This tour took us to some beautiful and scenic locations with a good sampling of wines from three wineries. On the way we stopped at a wildlife refuge and got to feed baby kangaroos and pet a baby koala. Our favourite winery was Leogate who provided a beautiful lunch and tour. We highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful full day trip to a very scenic wine country with excellent tastings and lunch! The trip to the Australia reptile park to see the Koala's and Kangaroos was fun for all. Our guide, Axl, was great. It was nice to get away from Sydney to see the countryside. I think we all wished we had a bit more time at the wildlife park but the driving time required a tight schedule.

I am only giving this tour 2 stars because our tour guide was wonderful, but the description of the tour needs to be fixed as soon as possible since it isn't true to what it says. It might be hard since it's early, but eat a breakfast before you go! They pick you up really early only to give you a small cup of tea or coffee which was kind of cold with a biscuit. The wildlife park was only a 30 min stop. We got to meet for 5 min with a small alligator and Koala and then feed some kangaroos. We couldn't walk around the park and we did not hand-feed wallabies or emus. We went to a small winery on our second stop and it was okay, but there was no wine and cheese ... just a few tastings of wine. The gourmet lunch at our third stop was family style and although was tasty, not worth the price when you are sharing with 9 other people nor was it enough for the amount of people they were feeding. The last stop was supposed to be shopping and chocolate tasting. It was only another 30 min stop and the chocolate tasting was walking into a small chocolate shop and they gave you a few pieces of candy. Everything was always rushed throughout the day to stick to a time schedule and it was very frustrating since I was hoping for time at each stop. I also wish we got a partial refund because we went on this trip because we thought we would have equal time with wine tasting, food, and wildlife as the description says and really all it was, was minimal wine tasting. I would look elsewhere if you are looking for this experience. This trip was expensive for what they offered. However, I do like to point out again and I wish I remembered her name, but our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable about the area. I also loved that she stopped at a gas station on the way back for a break since it was a lot of driving. I wish we would have went with another tour company though that actually did what we paid for!
