We will bike our way to explore the house of the national poet Pablo Neruda (La Chascona- view from outside) and hear about his life.

This was the highlight of my Santiago stay.I met my tour guide, I say my because I was the only rider, Jenni at 10am at the predetermined spot. Had all the equipment I needed, a nice Trek mt bike and helmet. What made this day special was that it was National Census Day. Last one was 10 years ago. All of Chile, not just Santiago, closes for the day. Very few cars and less people out and about. Jenni is a very nice person, good rider and guide, with some excellent historical knowledge of Santiago and Chile. We rode at a very comfortable pace and stopped many times for photo ops and info . Our planned lunch stop was cancelled due to census day, but we were lucky enough to find a nice spot for an empanada, We rode 20 miles I would say and the whole experience was a ton of FUN!!..I highly recommend the tour and thank you Jenni for a good day.
