Benvenuto nel più interessante tour panoramico di San Diego !
Cominceremo la nostra avventura a La Jolla con le sue bellissime vedute costiere. I dintorni di La Jolla sono davvero spettacolari, con i piedi su una delle spiagge più pittoresche della California puoi vedere gli sfondi del Mediterraneo proprio accanto, ciò dà il luogo una sensazione impressionante e dà la possibilità di scattare alcune foto perfette delle forme di vita marine onnipresenti. Potrai avvicinare leoni marini, pellicani e foche nella "piscina per bambini".
Dopo un giro sulla cima del Monte Soledad, dove potrai goderti una vista panoramica a 360° della contea, visiterai l'Isola di Coronado, il piccolo paradiso estivo si trova ad appena un ponte di distanza dal centro di San Diego. Accanto i suoi circa 40 km di bellissime spiagge e dune, Coronado è famosa per i suoi eleganti giardini e le residenze signorili Mac del vecchio mondo e lo storico Hotel del Coronado.
Dopo aver goduto delle più belle spiagge della zona di San Diego si proseguirà verso il centro di San Diego per visitare il famoso Parco Balboa con i suoi 1.200 ettari di parco urbano che ospita oltre 85 organizzazioni culturali e ricreative tra cui 15 musei. Poi ci si fermerà a Little Italy che è un bel quartiere pieno di ristoranti, bar e pub, luogo ideale per una gita notturna. Per non parlare del famoso quartiere Gaslamp. Il tour termina in centro, con una breve sosta al Parco Petco, sede dei Padres di San Diego.
Una volta completata la visita del centro, è previsto un giro per l'Embarcadero, dove si potranno ammirare il molo e molte magnifiche barche, tra cui la famosa Midway Aircraft Carrier.
Il tour termina nella città vecchia di San Diego, il "luogo di nascita" della California. Fu qui nel 1769 che Padre Junipero Serra stabilì la prima di 21 missioni che sono state le pietre miliari della California. Oggi la città vecchia di San Diego conserva ancora il ricco patrimonio del periodo dal 1821 al 1871. È anche sede di premiati ristoranti, più di 150 negozi, 17 musei e molto altro ancora.

Fantastic tour guide full of enthusiasm and info. Included out of the way sites most would not know about and the basic tourist sites. Liked the time to get out and explore and take pictures. The small group made it seem like a private tour. Lots of verbal interaction with everyone not just a scripted speech.

Roxanne was the best tour guide! She took us to see so many amazing sights! La Jolla being my favorite! She was very Informative and lovely! We really enjoyed this tour a lot. We met some very nice people on the tour also!

We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable tour mini bus to beautiful La Jolla, Mt. Soledad, through the city, and gorgeous Coronado. Average 30 minutes each stop with restrooms available at most as well as additional snacks. We chose to end tab old Town where our guide Roxanne gave us a great recommendation for Mexican food. She as friendly and very accommodating to all visitors.

Roxane was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! I am a seasoned traveler and have taken many tours through cruise lines as well as tours in many cities. Roxane gave us a great tour of San Diego! I’ve e never had such personal attention from a tour guide. She encouraged us to text with any questions. I did later that evening and she got immediately got back to us! I can’t express enough how wonderful it was!

A great way to get an overview of San Diego and see the highlights of the city in half a day! I recommend this tour if either you don't have a lot of time to see the city, or if you want to get an idea of the city and have more time to revisit the places you liked afterwards. If you want to spend quite a bit of time at each site, a hop on/hop off tour would better suit your needs. The tour started off in Little Italy, then took us through stops in La Jolla, Mt. Soledad, Old Town, Balboa Park, Coronado Island, and finally ended in the Gas Lamp district. At each stop, you are allotted about 20-30 minutes to explore the area before heading to the next location. I have nothing but great things to say about Roxane, our tour guide for the day, and also the owner of the tour company San Diego Rides and Tours. She's not a native of the city, but it doesn't make her any less knowledgeable about it. My mom has been to San Diego four times, and she still saw and learned something new on this tour. Roxane is friendly and was easy to communicate with to organize our pick-up and drop off points. It is evident that she is passionate about this business and the city, and it shows in her interactions with customers! Even after our tour was over, I was able to get in touch with her to get recommendations about other sites in the city. Thank you for the great experience, Roxane!

A fabulous tour with Roxanne. She was an absolute delight. Knowledgeable and friendly, we ended up with a tour just for the two of us and totally loved it. We saw sea lions and the neighborhood of La Jolla, the Old Town, Coronado hotel and beach and Gaslamp area. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and Roxanne. Thanks Roxanne, you macde our day perfect.
