If you go a bit early because you don't know where you are going..... there are no signs and no one knows anything. Much later, right before the concert there was a sign out. FYI the lift stays open for you when the concert is done. Great music!!! I was very moved.
Great intimate concert setting in Salzburg. Incredible views from the Fortress and the sound was lovely!
June, 2017 - This was a lovely way to spend the evening. Get there early and roam around the fortress. Venue was a little difficult to find, but once you are there - FANTASTIC!
What a lovely way to spend an evening in Salzburg! The music is exquisite and the view from the top of Hohenburg Fortress is breathtaking! Be sure to take time to walk around the fortress before the concert for amazing views of the surrounding city and the not-too-distant mountains!
pretty nice and easy experience. The set list was nice. It felt a little short though cuz the first half I fell asleep a little. lol... means the music is very soothing. Because I bought a Salzburg Card, so the cable car up to the fortress was free and took 2 minutes. No need to hike the mountain with the stairs, unless you want some exercise.
The concert and setting were very good but the signage to find the concert hall was very lacking. I agree with previous reviews there are an awful lot of steps to go up to reach the venue. The views from the fortress are stunning.
Beautiful location and great music. We did have to walk up many, many stairs to get to the venue and it would have been very difficult for anyone with hip or knee problems. Viator should highlight this as a challenge. This was not a problem for us so we had a great time and would do it again.
