Look down upon the Roman Forum and Nero's Circus Maximus, a huge chariot racing stadium that could accommodate over 150,000 spectators.

The last stop on this tour is a walk along the Via Sacra (or Sacred Way), the main artery that linked the Colosseum to Capitoline Hill. It runs through the heart of the Roman Forum, passing the site of a wealth of important buildings and was used in the days of antiquity for a whole host of festivals and triumphal processions. Perhaps, most important of all is the site of the tomb of Julius Caesar in the Temple that bears his name. After an absorbing and eye opening tour of Ancient Rome your guide will take you back to your luxury minivan, where your driver will be waiting to take you directly to your cruise ship.
