Inizia il tour scambiando il voucher cartaceo al punto d'incontro predeterminato. Dopodiché, raggiungi autonomamente i magnifici giardini Vaticani che si estendo su quasi 21 ettari. I giardini contengono un'ampia varietà di fortificazioni medievali, edifici e monumenti che risalgono dal IX secolo a oggi. Questi si trovano tra vivaci aiuole e arte topiaria, prati verdi e zone boschive. Sono presenti diverse fontane che rinfrescano i giardini e sculture.

Dopo esserti immerso in questo paesaggio floreale, prosegui il tour visitando la Cappella Sistina, un'opera d'arte di fama internazionale. Entra nella cappella per vedere "La creazione di Adamo", l'affresco di Michelangelo famoso in tutto il mondo. Prosegui questa esperienza entrando nella basilica di San Pietro, la chiesa più grande al mondo. Tra le numerose splendide opere d'arte e i mosaici in mostra, ci sono la "Pietà" di Michelangelo e il meravigliosamente intagliato pulpito di Bernini. Termina il tour alla basilica, dove saluterai la guida e il gruppo.

Huge number of people. Very crowded. Guide was very good. Garden part was very limited. Museum was extremely crowded.

This was very special part of our trip. The St Peter's Basilica WOW. Sistine Chapel was another great experience and the Vatican.

Excellent tour, fantastic guide. The group was very small 7 people- four were my family which was unexpected.. The skip the line was incredible we never had any wait on a very crowded day. The gardens portion was beautiful. My families favorite tour of our vacation. The guide couldn't have been better. Perfect! Don't hesitate to book.

Excellent tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and really brought the history of the Vatican to life. Amazing experience to see the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Very helpful in skipping the lines and making our way though a complex area. Highly recommend this tour.

This was one of my favorite tours! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable don't worry you will get headphones to hear her. If you bring children in the summer make sure you hold on to them b/c heading through the museum in the Vatican is very, very crowded. You will also need to keep an eye on where your guide is and all guides usually have some sort of flag to follow. The gardens were a nice addition to this tour and we didn't wait in any lines until we moved into the Sistine Chapel. You have about 15 minutes to admire it before moving along but the guide explained much of it before we entered so you knew what to look for. You can take as long as you want in the church. The tour office was super easy to find which was a relief. You definitely need to cover you shoulders and knees if you enter the Sistine Chapel or they may deny you access.

We ultimately dropped off this tour. This was definitely not a tour for senior citizens. The guide was walking entirely too fast. I think the main thing is that somehow such a tour should be in some way tailored to seniors.
