Quando la tua nave è ormeggiata a Civitavecchia, incontra il tuo autista privato e parti per un'escursione a Roma. Se lo desideri e a tue spese, puoi visitare i Musei Vaticani, che ospitano alcune delle opere d'arte più importanti del mondo. Visita la Galleria degli arazzi e le magnifiche stanze di Raffaello prima di arrivare alla Cappella Sistina, dove potrai immergerti nella magica atmosfera creata dal dipinto sul soffitto di Michelangelo, La creazione di Adamo.
Poi, visita Piazza San Pietro e ammira la più grande chiesa della cristianità, la Basilica di San Pietro. Se decide di avventurarti all'interno, ammira il dorato baldacchino papale sospeso sopra l'altare, dove il Papa celebra la Santa Messa. Qui, potrai ammirare una delle sculture più conosciute al mondo, La Pietà, il capolavoro di marmo di Michelangelo.
Dopo queste attrazioni mozzafiato, esplora la Roma Antica. Visita il Foro Romano, il Colosseo e l'Arco di Costantino e passa davanti al Circo Massimo, il Colle Palatino e le Terme di Caracalla. Visita il Pantheon ben conservato e la vicina chiesa di Santa Maria Sopra Minerva che ospita il Cristo risorto di Michelangelo. Per tutto il tour, il tuo autista ti spiegherà la storia di questi incredibili siti e ti suggerirà degli eccellenti posti in cui fermarti per il pranzo (non incluso).
Infine, passeggia per il centro storico di Roma, da Piazza Navona attraverso le strette stradine fino alla Fontana di Trevi e le scalinate di Piazza di Spagna, prima di terminare la tua giornata con un rilassante viaggio di ritorno al porto di Civitavecchia.

We had a a fabulous day with Leo. It was like spending a day with a Professor of Ancient Roman and Etruscan History from a top university. The four of us had been to Rome before so we asked him to take us to sights unfamiliar to us but so worth it. I highly recommend Leo

Absolutely fantastic trip, we were met by Luca at the ship and as it was a Saturday breezed into Rome :- As it was our first visit to Rome we were flexible and just said to Luca lets do the top sites, I had bought tickets for Colleseum before direct from Colleseum site,the best way so Luca took us past the queses right up to the entry and we were in. from then on we visited loads of decent places,Forum, Spanish Steps Pantheon,St Peters Square,Circus maximus, Trevi Fountain, where i have to apologise to Luca for nearly giving him a heart attack!...I unfortunately cut my head open going for a shortcut under some iron railings :- so staggered back to Luca's vehicle pouring blood..poor bloke though i'd been mugged!! Sorry mate! plus more..... we stopped for a brilliant italian lunch in a local restaurant and had a coffee stop earlier in the day..we stopped up in the hills for great views..Luca is a top guy, good company, knows his stuff, full of good information, gets you right close to the attractions and picks you up conveniently when you're done..no pressure and very personable...would 100 recommend booking him and we'll be sure to when we get to Rome again it really is a beautiful city...meeting him and doing this trip was a real highlight of our cruise and looking forward to seeing Luca again sometime in the future..you never know we might even get to sample mamas cooking :- :- Thanks Luca..you're a star Chris,Wendy,Derek and Tracey

Our day trip to Rome with Leo was the highlight of our Mediterranean cruise vacation. He picked up the four of us at the port, and drove us to the Vatican for our 10:30 tour, making quick stops along the way to view several ruins and to visit the Trevi Fountain. He was so very knowledgeable about all of the sights and shared lots of interesting facts. He recommended a lovely little restaurant, where he actually brought out his guitar and serenaded us while we ate! After lunch, we arrived at the Colesseum for our prearranged tour. Leo used every minute that we spent together wisely, pointing out so many interesting sights. He pulled over and urged us to hop out to take a quick look at the Pantheon, pulling right up almost to the front door. No matter the questions we asked, he seemed to know the answers. Rome was wonderful, but we felt that our tour guide absolutely made the difference between having a good visit and a great one!. We highly recommend this tour company, and, of course, Leo.

We had a wonderful day with Leo, and experienced more than we had hoped. Leo gave us a great overview of the history of the area on our ride from Civitavecchia to Rome. He not only took us to each of the sites we requested, but added a number of additional areas. We had plenty of time to explore, and saw more than we would have been able to on our own. This day was one of highlights of our trip thanks to Leo, and his knowledge and enthusiasm.
