La guida andrà a prendere i partecipanti presso l'hotel di Rio, dopo di che si potrà salirà a bordo di una Jeep decappottabile e allacciarsi le cinture per un divertentissimo giro! Il tour procederà verso i confini del paesaggio urbano, entrando nella Foresta Pluviale di Tijuca, situata a soli 10 minuti dal centro della città. Si potrà sentir parlare dell'importante programma di riforestazione del Parco Nazionale di Tijuca e imparare l'importanza dell'ecosistema della Mata Atlântica - parte della vasta e protetta Riserva della Foresta Atlantica, che copre 14 stati del Brasile.
Durante il tour di 4 ore in Jeep attraverso la foresta pluviale, i partecipanti avranno molte opportunità per scattare foto spettacolari, con fermate a Emperor's Table e a Mayrink Chapel. A Vista Chinesa, si potranno ammirare le ampie vedute delle spiagge di Ipanema e Copacabana, della Baia di Guanabara e perfino di Niteroi.
Durante il tragitto, si avrà la possibilità di scendere per una breve eco escursione della durata di circa 15-30 minuti, seguendo un facile sentiero con la guida. Si potranno raggiungere a piedi le cristalline cascate di Cachoeira dos Macacos e passare accanto alle pittoresche cascate di Cascatinha. Non c'è modo migliore per vivere la vivace foresta pluviale e ammirare la flora e la fauna selvatica!
Al termine del tour in Jeep, i partecipanti saranno riaccompagnati presso l'hotel di Rio de Janeiro.

Decent but not really exciting. Guide should have been more knowledgeable about the Flora. Could do this easily without guide except we were afraid of high crime rate

The Tijuca Rain Forest Jeep Tour from Rio de Janeiro is an interesting ecological tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept checking to make sure everyone was satisfied. The only downside was there were 9 tourists cramped together on the jeep. With a more spacious jeep, the tour would be a "5."

Had a great time on this tour. Erica, our tour guide, was so energetic, friendly, and informative. She showed up on time. The Tijuca forest was beautiful. We enjoyed the waterfall and the views. DId not see much wildlife, but did see some funny monkeys. The group we were with on the tour was also fun. I would recommend this tour.

The driver got stuck in traffic but Henry, the guide was on time. The rain started and we could not see the view from the look out point due to the rain - but we saw a monkey! Henry was interesting and well prepared and we hd a good tour.

I was deeply disappointed with this tour, which is partly my own fault for bringing unrealistic expectations to the tour. When I think of a rain forest I think of exotic wild life and plants. In fact Tijuca rain forest meets the technical definition of a rain forest, in terms of rain per year, but is actually a hand planted forest with plants from all over the world. It felt like walking through a forest in Ohio where I grew up. Nothing special. Because this forest is planted over a substantial amount of space in a mountainous terrain, it's elevation allows for stunning views of the surrounding city. That said, if you went on an island tour, to sugar loaf mountain, or to see Christ the Redeemer, then you've already seen stunning views of the city.
