Just outstanding. Also we were blessed with perfect weather all day. Clear and sunny. Worth every cent. Thank you.
Excellent tour. Every stop is a gem!! If you go to Iceland, you MUST take this tour!! The hot springs, the volcanic crater, the lava fields, the waterfall, and the cherry on top is the Blue Lagoon!
David, our driver, was full of energy and tried to keep our spirits up because our day was full of rain and wind. He is a wealth of knowledge of the area, especially the volcanoes. We'll just have to come back and hopefully have a day full of sun and less than 60 mph winds. Iceland is a beautiful country and this tour gave us a wonderful visual of it's uniqueness and rugged terrain.
We had a great day with our tour guide, Jessepe. He was very knowledgeable and I fantastic time getting us all from point to point.
The tour and seeing all the sites was great, but our guide sucked. He gave us a little bit of information only when we got to the site and then that was it.
Wonderful tour! Willie was a great guide! Tip:book optional admission to Blue Lagoon well worth it. Pick up very close to hotel
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and the scenery beautiful. The only negative was the uncomfortable tight fit in a smaller bus. If taking this tour, try to be in a larger coach since you are on the road for 10 hours. Great day otherwise!!!
We had a beautiful sunny and warm day in the small group mini bus. Our guide Arne was intelligent, knowledgeable and funny young man. He kept us informed about sites we visited and life in Iceland. Interesting country and hip people. Blue Lagoon is most interesting place, but expensive.
If you only have a limited time in Iceland/Reykjavik, this is a must-do tour, as it packs in just about all of the geographic/geological things you want to see in the Reykjavik area into one day. We arrived on a cruise ship with just one-and-a-half days, and this was perfect for our time and our budget. The pick-up at the cruise terminal was smooth. Were were tired at the end... yes, but we were thrilled with everything we saw and did.
A great day where you see various natural formations (waterfall, stand inbetween two tectonic plates!) This trip is also great as it has the blue lagoon (transfers) included in this trip, so it ticks another popular tourist attraction off (have to buy your admission seperately) Mini bus (16 seater) was also comfortable, has wifi and charging ports (a modern day dream)
We enjoyed every minute of this. The sights were amazing and were everywhere we expected. The driver was informative and went out of his way to show us things that weren’t even in the schedule. I would thoroughly recommend this.
A full backed day that goes for about 12 hours. In the end you will be tired but you will have a very good idea of what that part of Iceland offers. Guide was knowledgeable but a little hard to understand. The Blue Lagoon was the perfect way to end the day. Very relaxing, drinks while soaking, masks and amazing water. There are a lot of people here so keep that in mind. Strongly recommend that you do the bath robe option price of entry. The towels are small and they are wet after your shower and then worthless. Great tour!
The scenery was spectacular. 'Bob' was a good driver and answered all our questions. Good pace and nice stops for coffee and lunch.
This trip is a must-do when you’re in Iceland!! The scenery and natural wonders of this island country are absolutely breathtaking!! You will not be disappointed!!
The sites and commentary by our guide was informative and excellent. The trip was well the long day and cost.
Our guide Christina from NICE travel was very knowledgeable and excellent. Keep it very interesting.
Fun packed day with so many fantastic sights and a great tour guide! The Blue lagoon was my favourite!
Our tour guide Roman was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and humorous and make extra stops along the way when we had time for extra sights and bathroom breaks, etc. I lost count of how many stops we made - I'd guess 8-10 throughout the day. It was a small group in a sprinter type bus which looked modern and did have USB ports so you could charge your phones. The only downside is that the seats were very small/narrow, did not have much leg room (we are two average sized people) and pretty cramped so we were thankful for lots of stops because it was a bit uncomfortable. We took another tour to a different location the day before, and the bus was much roomier so this was kind of a bummer, but didn't ruin our day. Other than that everything was amazing and I'd highly recommend.
This is our first visit to Iceland and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful trip to Thingvellir National Park, Geysir, Gulfoss, Kerid Crater. and last (and best) the Blue Lagoon Addi was a fantastic driver and guide. Highly recommended.
It was a perfect day and were able to enjoy it all, the guide Roman was excellent and the places were espectacular
Everything is amazing as i expected only the weather is not good it's raining none stop .Driver/tour guide are good
Relaxing and beautiful scenery with plenty of time to take everything in at Gulfoss falls, nippy but spectacular. Gets its and Kerid volcanic crater were amazing.
A lovely day was had by all, it started by watching the sun come up over the snowy mountains at the Pingvellir National Park. We then carried on driving and stopped to take in the view of the largest lake in Iceland. Next a quick stop to see the Icelandic horses and then onto Geyser which didn’t fail to impress us. We then stopped for a nice lunch at the restaurant at Geyser and looked at the good selection of merchandise in the shop. After lunch we moved onto the Golden Circle where the waterfalls were absolutely stunning and were totally unspoilt. Finally our last destination was at the Blue Lagoon and it finished off the day beautifully. Everywhere was spotlessy clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Finally the water was lovely and relaxing and we are glad this part was the end of the trip. The tour guide Michael had great knowledge and was so friendly and helpful.
This was a wonderful tour, but our tour guide David made the trip. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and managed the trip well. The Blue Lagoon was the highlight of the trip.
We were picked up promptly by Martin. He was wonderful! He gave lots of history and kept up with all of us at every stop. The place where the plates met was just gorgeous, we walked all over. The waterfalls were spectacular, we hiked around the crate lake, and we went swimming in the Blue Lagoon. It was lightly snowing and to be cold on your head and toasty warm in the water - wow! What an experience. This trip was a full 12 hours but so worth it. Do yourself a favor and take this tour!
Tour guide Andreas was very smart and shared a lot about the sights. I get car sick, but the bus was so smooth. I was alone, but the people were all lovely. The pickup and drop off sights are easy to find. At each stop during the tour, we spent almost an hour, so we were never in a rush. Independent, so at each stopping point, you could explore on your own.
