La giornata inizia con il trasferimento da Reykjavík al sito storico del parco nazionale di Þingvellir. È stato sede del parlamento islandese dal 930 fino al 1798 ed è patrimonio mondiale dell'umanità UNESCO, sia per la sua ricca storia che per l'incredibile natura. È anche il posto dove le placche americana ed euroasiatica si incontrano, dando l'incredibile opportunità di mettere un piede in ogni "mondo".
Dopo aver goduto l'esperienza di Þingvellir, raggiungerai il famoso sito del geyser Geysir. Conosciuto nel mondo per la sua potenza e bellezza, Geysir è diventato sinonimo di questo straordinario spettacolo della natura. Strokkur, un altro geyser, si trova nelle vicinanze ed è molto attivo; erutta fino a 30 metri di altezza ogni pochi minuti. Nella zona del Geysir avrai anche del tempo libero per acquistare il pranzo o qualche spuntino.
Successivamente, in programma c'è la cascata Gullfoss, la cascata dorata. Una delle attrazioni turistiche più popolari in Islanda, Gullfoss ti stupirà con la sua rude potenza e bellezza, precipitando per 32 metri in un aspro canyon.
Queste tre attrazioni completano il classico Circolo d'oro ma, per aggiungere ancora di più alla tua esperienza, faremo una sosta anche presso lo spettacolare cratere vulcanico Kerið. Questo vecchio cratere di 3000 anni è profondo 55 metri e offre una vista unica della bellezza della natura islandese. L'ingresso al lago Kerið è incluso nel prezzo del tour.

It was an incredible nice day. The tour was well organized, the landscape and the tour itself was beautiful and our tour guide David was very friendly, funny and shared a lot of information with us. Thank you David!

Definitely worth doing the trips, such as this one, that include the Kerid Crater. Could have had a bit more explanation at Pingvellir. Only 4 star as minibus had some problems with door which detracted from the tour - which were solved half way through.

Very informative guide. One of the best parts was the last stop of the volcano which a lot if trips don't accommodate. Definitely worth paying the extra for this trip.

Our guide Michael (Micha) was great. He explained how the day would go and had many interesting facts along the way. We loved that it was a small group. We had better weather than expected and it made for an awesome day. Highly recommend

Our guide, Fernando, was fantastic. He is from Spain, but he knew a great deal about Iceland. Apparently, he travels around the world as a tour guide. I picked this tour because it went to all the major sites on the Golden Circle, but also included the Kerid Volcanic Crater.

I had a great time on this tour. We had plenty of time to walk around and enjoy each of the sites. The tour guide was great - he gave us left us alone to explore on our own but was also there if we wanted information. He was quite knowledgeable and helpful. The small group made the tour much more relaxed and friendly.

First of all the Golden Circle is a must see the site are all truly amazing and our tour guid dawid was very informative funny and made sure we saw every part of the Golden Circle I would definitely recommend this to any one that goes to Iceland

you can go at your our pace, know some experiences may be too hard for some inexperienced walkers. but most of the tour is on a bus.

This was an amazing tour. I enjoyed walking to the top of the crater and looking down. What a fantastic view. There was lots to see on this tour and I highly recommend it.
