Il tour inizia di prima mattina con il prelievo dal tuo hotel nella città di Puerto Princesa. Goditi un tragitto di 2 ore e mezza verso Sabang con una pittoresca vista di altre attrazioni naturali. A Sabang salirai su un bangka motorizzato (che è una piccola barca locale motorizzata) verso Entrance Beach, una meravigliosa area forestale che ospita un gran numero di specie indigene, inclusi dei furbi macachi. Osserva e sperimenta un incontro ravvicinato con le scimmie e ammira le lucertole nella foresta pluviale.
Da lì, entra nel mondo esotico e mozzafiato del fiume sotterraneo in barca a remi per circa 45 minuti o 1 ora. Esplora le parti più recondite della caverna nel buio pesto. Il fiume sotterraneo è uno dei più lunghi fiumi sotterranei percorribili al mondo, con una lunghezza totale di 8 km.
Osserva le pareti interne coperte di stalagmiti e diverse formazioni rocciose, gli anfiteatri che si sono creati nel corso di migliaia di anni e le popolazioni di pipistrelli e rondoni che popolano la grotta.
Ritornati al porto di Sabang, la guida ti porterà in un ristorante locale dove ti sarà fornito un pranzo a buffet.

The core of the trip is the 45M boat ride in the underground river but the entire trip is roughly 6.5H. The 1.5H ride up was through green country with some small roadside villages en route. Being with a guide saved lots of procedural unknowns. One next took a less than 15M bangka ride to the area of the river. A further 5M walk to you to the entrance area and your boat. Supplied items were lifejackets worn on the bangkas and the underground river boat trip plus a hard hat and audiotape for the underground river boat trip. The audiotape was very good. The cave is not a Disney production. There is minimal lighting from the boat captains. After a second bangka ride, it was time for lunch at the Gusto Grill. Same was no more than average. Lots of nodding off on the way home. This was by and large an enjoyable visit to a unique World Heritage Site.
This package is over-priced. We paid US50 per person thinking we will get better quality for this tour. They squeeze 10 travelers in the van making the entire 1 1/2 hour journey extremely uncomfortable. We met a family of 6 in the hotel we were staying and they only paid Php1800 equivalent to US36 per person. When we reach the pier waiting for the boat ride, we realized the family of 6 came in the same type of Van as ours, will be riding the same type of boats as ours. They even have the same lunch buffets just like our. Basically, regardless, who ever you buy your tour package from, you get the same quality from the local operators.
Very good well organised tour, pick at hotel was on time, all went smoothly. boats were all safe Underground river is the 8th wonder of the world, well worth the trip, the buffet lunch had plenty of choices so no need to go hungry, even included a soft drink.
Such a spectacular visit to this nature-made site! No words or pictures can truly describe the beauty - this is a must-visit for everyone!!! And our guide made our tour extra fun and interesting with his ad-lib, even my teenager enjoyed it as much as me.
