Una volta prelevato comodamente presso il tuo hotel, lascerai Praga con un piccolo gruppo di 1 o 8 persone. Lungo il tragitto, la guida ti indicherà i monumenti naturali che ti passeranno accanto, durante questo viaggio di 2 ore, e ti presenterà la campagna ceca.

La prima tappa sarà il monumento naturale nazionale delle "rocce di Tisa", situato nel cuore della Riserva naturale "dell'Elbsandsteingebirge". La guida ti condurrà attraverso gli stretti passaggi e lungo le bizzarre colonne in pietra, che ricordano la terra delle fiabe. Non c'è da meravigliarsi se le scene del famoso film fantasy "Le Cronache di Narnia" sono state girate qui. Avrai abbastanza tempo per esplorare lentamente la zona e raggiungere le cime delle rocce, per goderti il panorama.

Successivamente, preparati per gustare un tradizionale pranzo ceco, in un eccellente ristorante locale, dove potrai provare dei tipici piatti cechi. La selezione di piatti cucinati con ingredienti locali e l'ottima birra, proveniente da un locale mini-birrificio, ti daranno sufficiente energia per la seconda parte del tour.

La guida ti porterà in un viaggio di 45 minuti al lato tedesco del massiccio dell'Elbsandsteingebirge e infine arriverai al "Bastei", un'iconica formazione rocciosa, che presenta una fortezza e un ponte in pietra, sopra il fiume Elba. Una facile passeggiata ti porterà al principale punto panoramico, che si affaccia sull'enorme canyon del fiume Elba, con le montagne tutto intorno. Potrai inoltre vedere il Königstein, una grande fortezza sul lato opposto, e se ci sarà bel tempo potrai anche apprezzare un bellissimo tramonto da questo luogo.

Farai ritorno a Praga in serata e arriverai in città intorno alle 19:00, pieno di esperienze di una giornata trascorsa negli spazi all'aria aperta.

This is truly a stunning destination. The kind you'd put on your bucket list. The tour guide you choose must be no amateur however. Mareck was on time, he has good command of the itinerary, we had a few freebie snacks, enjoyed a sumptuous lunch, he was very knowledgeable about Bastei and Elbe Canyon, gave us a bookmark memento of our boat ride, provided healthy snacks and water! And he is fit to walk it all. If you are fit, he is twice that. Note for those who are not used to hiking or walking, start getting fit now before you sign up.

Let me begin with acknowledging the efforts of our tour guide Zuzka. She was great throughout the tour - on time pick up, explaining the history about of the national park, getting us back safely to the hotel. The place is worth to visit and especially when it is raining. It is beautiful to watch the sand stone mountains with clouds covering the tip of the mountains. While rain was not predicted during our visit, it did drench us and the hail storm was a surprise. Lunch was on the way at a restaurant and availability of vegetarian option was a bonus. Weather was really great and we really enjoyed the day. We would certainly recommend this tour to all visitors to Prague. Special thanks to Zuzka once again for treating us so well.

This was a great trip! The Bastei bridge is just utterly breathtaking, and the hike in the national park beforehand was also quite nice. Marek was a great guide!

Reserving the trip was easy and received a text the day before confirming our reservations and pick up time. Our van was on time and our guides were very friendly. We stopped to pick additional travelers up and spoke to the guides along the way about the countryside. The hike was moderate, never felt rushed or pushed to walk faster and paced ourselves for those who may have needed a little more time. The views were breathtaking and definitely worth the tour outside of the city. We stopped at a local restaurant for lunch which was delicious and offered native cuisine. I would most definitely book another tour and encourage anyone thinking of doing so to do it. The views are amazing, the experience exceeded our expectations and the interaction with other tourists and the guides was nice.

Tony, our guide, was well versed on the history of the region and he took great care of us. Weather was unusually cold for March so the email prior to departure helped ensure I was prepared so I could enjoy the hikes! The natural wonders were spectacular. Thanks for a wonderful day!
