Dopo la partenza da Ponta Delgada, prendi la strada per la fantastica vista di Vista do Rei belvedere, dove si può godere della splendida vista del cratere Sete Cidades, "Blue and Green Lake". Continuiamo il tour scendendo verso i laghi, facendo diverse fermate in diversi punti panoramici e andando vicino ai margini dei laghi gemelli.
Prosegui per Mata do Canário, un parco naturale con un belvedere che offre una vista diversa di questo paesaggio unico, e poi alla strada di Pico do Carvão, con numerosi laghetti, tra cui i "laghi Empadas." Goditi molteplici prospettive delle coste settentrionali e meridionali dell'isola. Sosta per il pranzo, servito in un ristorante locale dove potrai assaporare piatti tipici nelle Azzorre. Continuiamo la nostra visita alla scoperta della città di Ribeira Grande, con il suo centro storico unico risalente al XVII, XVIII e XIX secolo. Alla fine della giornata saliamo a Pico da Barrosa per Lagoa do Fogo (lago del fuoco) e il bellissimo parco naturale con piscine termali, cascate e molti tipi diversi di piante endemiche, protette e incontaminate dall'uomo. Ritorno a Ponta Delgada per il rientro agli alloggi.

Our guide Mario was one of the best tour guides we have experienced while taking an escorted tour. He turned what was a day of lousy weather into a wonderful journey while touring Sete Cidades and Lgoa do Fogo. His historical references, personal experiences of the areas we traveled made for one memorable excursion.
Hugo was a fabulous guide! We enjoyed the drive through the beautiful blue hydrangeas and he pointed out the highlights and answered our many! questions along the way. He was extremely knowledgeable and we felt that the tour was paced perfectly. The day went by so quickly and we enjoyed very much. We decided to have a carefree trip without worrying about a car rental and this was a perfect way to see many of the beautiful sights on the island of Sau Miguel in the Azores. Highly, highly recommend!

The tour with Hugo was great! He took us to everywhere and adjusted the tour upon our needs. Highly recommend Hugo especially you are traveling with young children, my boy loves Hugo and it makes our trip a lot more easier!
This tour was carried out by Hugo, and he was an amazing guide to all things Azores, São Miguel, and Portugal. The tour started at 9:00 AM and went on until 5:00 PM, although time was never a constraint for him if we'd wanted to go on for longer. He was really articulate. I'd highly recommend him.
Amazing!!! We had Hugo as our tour-guide. He was extremely knowledgable. Hugo showed us many interesting places which were amazing, gave us interesting prospective on inviromental, historical and economical life of Ponte Delgado and the Azores Islands. We enjoyed lunch at one of the small but delicious local restaurants. We would highly recommend Full-day Sate Cidades and Lagos do Fore Tour and do not forget to request Hugo as your guide, you will not regret it.
Nuno was an engaging and friendly guide. Unfortunately we did not have the best of weather at the top of the vista of the Sete Cidades but that never deterred him. Instead he took us to the Lagoa Azul where we walked and took in the outstanding view of this beautiful lake and the stillness of its surroundings. This tour was very leisurely and Nuno is very accommodating and patient. Note, there is a lot of driving involved in this tour. We had a wonderful day with him and grateful for all his efforts.
