Pinnacles Sunset Stargazing Tour

We got picked up taken up to a chocolate place and winery. Then onto a honey shop. All were great. We then got to the pinnacles, just fantastic. Gavin our guide cooked us a bbq and set up for star gazing. Gavin gave lots of useful information along the way. I don’t think this is a trip for young children as they would be bored

I felt this tour was very disorganised and certainly not worth the money paid. Firstly bus over an hour late picking us up. Tour held up further when we had to wait for 2 other people to catch up to us on the tour as they had been forgotten to be picked up! The dinner was very tasty however no light provided - we had to try and eat with mobile phone light!! Would not recommend.,

This was the highlight of our short holiday in Perth. Value for money tour compared to a few others. Highlights would be Swan Valley, Lacelin Sand Dunes and finally the Pinnacles, which is really an awesome experience not to be missed. Dinner in the serene desert was unique, and moon and star-gazing was a bonus! Gavin our driver / guide was very good indeed. He drove us to the various places smoothly and safely (despite all of us suffering from an extremely noisy child on the tour). Brought boards for us to sandboard at the dunes, showed us some wild flora and fauna, and then cooked a nice simple dinner and set the telescopes up for us to look at the moon, stars and a couple of planets. An activity filled day trip worth the time and money!

This tour is private with different activities compared to other standard tours in Perth. Well organised, convenient pick up/drop off, good value for money. Dinner was simple but lovely. Gavin was a little quite but very friendly. Try not to talk or talk softly during stargazing. I had three people in my group who wouldn’t stop talking loudly the entire time and it was very disturbing. We didn’t do the Gallery stop and Astrophotography.

This was one of the best tours we did while in Perth. Gavin was our driver/guide and he took great care of all in his group. Our trip started with being picked up in the afternoon with well chosen stops on route to the Pinnacles. We enjoyed the wine tasting, chocolate tasting, and fun on the sand dunes. We arrived at the Pinnacles just before sunset and what a lovely sight to see, just amazing under the setting sun. We believe this was the best time to see the Pinnacles it felt like our small group were the only people here. While the sun was setting Gavin gave us a glass of wine and Gavin set up the table for our dinner which was all homemade by his wife which was delicious. Once dinner was finished we lay down to look at the night sky and Gavin passed on his expert knowledge of the stars and planets to us. Some in the group even got lucky to see a shooting star. With no light pollution this was one special way to see the night sky. We were so glad to find this tour on Viator, so nice that it was a small group which made for a very personal tour. If you are in Perth don't miss this tour you will experience so much, we have very special memories of this trip and can't thank Gavin enough for giving us a great time. Thank you. Alan and Julia
