Ritira i biglietti presso un ufficio vicino alla Torre Eiffel, quindi recati al Musée Rodin quando preferisci; potrai saltare la fila dove si comprano i biglietti. Rodin si trasferì all'Hotel Biron, sede del museo, nel 1908 e continuò a produrre lì le sue opere fino alla morte. Il museo comprende 400 opere d'arte nelle sue gallerie e nei sontuosi giardini. Il Pensatore (1880), probabilmente la scultura più famosa di Rodin, si trova nei giardini di fronte alla "Porta dell'Inferno", un'opera che lo mise alla prova per gli ultimi trent'anni della sua vita. Rodin morì prima di completare questa scultura che rappresenta scene tratte dall'Inferno di Dante. Alcune delle altre opere presenti nei giardini includono "Balzac" e "I Borghesi di Calais". Rodin realizzò anche molti busti di amici e persone famose, fra cui lo scrittore francese Victor Hugo, il compositore austriaco Gustav Mahler e la scrittrice inglese Vita Sackville-West.

A most enjoyable visit. The gardens are lovely as well as enjoying the sculptures. After our visit to the house and gardens, we enjoyed delicious ice cream under a tree canopy. We did not take an official tour. Bought the skip the line ticket and toured ourselves.

Musee Rodin is beautiful! We enjoyed the outdoor space and beautiful gardens as well.

The voucher received was printed with electronic voucher accepted and at the same time there was also a pickup tickets required statement. At the museum we were told we had to go pick up the tickets 3/4 of a mile away. Considering the entry fee was about the same it was hardly worth the effort of pre-purchasing only to have to go somewhere else to pick up the tickets. There were no lines to skip at the time of year that we went and the gardens were mostly closed off for spring rework, as was part of the museum itself. Sorry to say it was disappointing.
