Viaggio privato di un giorno del Taj Mahal e del Forte di Agra da Delhi

We decided to visit agra by rail (train) instead of car, booked a single day tour on viator and our local tour operator was Taj destinations. Everything was smooth and without hitch, had clean cars on-time to take us to train station in Delhi, private car and tour guide in agra. Excellent lunch, and food in train. Train was on time and ac-car was very comfortable. We could beat traffic as we were at Taj Mahal by 10 am. We even managed to see baby taj. Only bad thing was agra was very hot and humid. Go end of year. Or take a hat, umbrella and dress right. Our car had cold water bottles well stocked, so that helped lot. Other thing is train stations have not changed much, so if you are a foreigner, don't expect a modern station.

It was very nice trip with kind guide and on time pick up taxi. Staffs are good at Japanese and English so I recommend this tour for Japanese tourists too. Their response was also good so that I can ask some question about tour.

Travelling by the Taj Express Train on this day tour from NewDelhi was amazing. Visiting the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Agra was a dream come true. My guide, Shaan, has a great depth of knowledge of the area and sites, which he imparted to me in a lovely clear, interesting way and with humour. I had an amazing day which just flew by. The Taj Mahal in particular was so beautiful and stunning. My driver in Agra, Raju, zipped us around safely and in comfort to the sites. I unreservedly recommend this tour. I did include all the optional additions on this tour which thus included pick up from the hotel and return to the hotel, breakfast and dinner on the train, lunch in Agra, all entrance fees, including express access to the sites and was so glad I did. I was able to relax and just enjoy the whole experience. I

The guide in Delhi was great and even went with us on the train and the rest of the tour to be sure we had no problems. The guide in Agra should have at least taken the time to orient us as to what we should expect after the tour. At the end of your tour, you will be taken to a place to supposedly educate you on how something is done, but it is in fact a place where they will try to sell you items at inflated prices. Don't ever pay what they say is the price. The more accurate value is usually closer to half of what the original price quote is. In addition, it is common practice in India that the guide typically gets a commission for bringing you to the store. If you aren't interested, just say no and be polite but firm about it. You can even tell them you don't want to go at all, but some of the places they take you have some nice items.

Everything on the tour with Taj Destinations was brilliant, perfect communication all the time, punctual and a very tailored service in case you want something particular, in the future I will definitely count with them, they don't try to abuse you on prices and always give you tips on how to move, do and shop in India, it was excellent for my first adventure in the country traveling alone, Namaste Asif !!!
