Get to know Delhi — India’s largest city and its second most populous — where ancient monuments mix with a modern metropolis. With this hop-on hop-off tour aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned bus, see top Delhi attractions like Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar or India Gate. With your 1-day or 2-day ticket, you can hop on and off at any of the 22 stops around Delhi to visit a variety of museums and monuments. Take advantage of the available downloadable app that provides audio and video tours of the important heritage sites.

For a more relaxing tour experience, remain on the bus for the entire loop (approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes). If markets are what you crave, Delhi has plenty of those too, including the handicraft emporiums at Baba Kharak Singh Marg and Central Cottage Industry Emporium, the artisan and food stalls of Dilli Haat, and one of Delhi’s oldest markets — Chandni Chowk, where the Red Fort is located.

DONT BOOK THIS TOUR. It is a waste of TIME and MONEY. There are no longer Red and Green routes. Only a Purple combined route. The bus has Kenny G tunes played at full volume with a taped English message played over the music at random intervals. Thetour guide, who barely speaks English, then yells the same phrase over top of Kenny G. The bus does not drive a circle route. And you are stranded at some distant locales because the next bus does not arrive. Terrible. Hire a driver and car from a service or your hotel. You will be much much happier!

At the last minute I backed out of this experience. I am sure it would have been fine as I typically take a Hop On/Hop Off Bus tour anytime there is one available when I travel.

This was a great way to experience Delhi as we could disembark at places we were most interested in. Having a limited time in New Delhi meant that this was the best option to choose as it covered a wide area and included all the major sights and attractions. Even if you didn't want to get off, you could see a lot by just cruising past, and the commentators pointed out things of interest as they were coming up and advised passengers whether to get off and explore or to stay on til the next point. Very informative. Although the female tour guides were too fast in talking and the intonation sometimes made it hard to pick up what they were saying. Otherwise very enjoyable....I was with my elderly mother and we both found it a great experience.
