3 Days Heritage tour to Aurangabad Ajanta and Ellora with Return

Day 1: Mumbai - Aurangabad [By Flight]

Board the flight from Mumbai to Aurangabad at 05:15 AM you have to reach Mumbai Airport own by own sharp 04:00 AM. As you arrive at the airport in Aurangabad we would pick you up and drop at the respected hotel. Once you check-in, you can rest for some time as you need lots of energy to explore the historical attraction around. A replica of Taj Mahal, white in color, Bibi ka Maqbara, which is also referred as Taj of Deccan is a prime attraction of Aurnagabad. The Daulatbad Fort is one of the world's best preserved Fort, which is existing even without being altered. The fort can be accessed by a narrow bridge and it features a gallery, which has been excavated in the rock. After visiting these two sights you shall proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.

 Day 2: Aurangabad – Ajanta- Aurangabad (95 Kms. / approx. 2 Hrs. One way) (B)

The next morning after the breakfast at the hotel, you visit another historical site, which is Ajanta Caves. The site is well known to be adorned with some of the most magnificent masterpieces of Indian art. The Ajanta is an ideal place for history and culture buff to explore. Apart from the stunning paintings and sculptures you get to see the huge Buddha in a sitting posture along with massive pillars and detailed carvings on the ceilings and walls that gave Ajanta caves the status of a heritage site. All the paintings and sculptures depict predominance of philosophy and religious teachings of the Buddha. After exploring the monument site, your day ends with an overnight stay at the hotel.

 Day 3: Aurangabad – Ellora (35 Kms. /approx. 1 Hrs. one way)| Aurangabad – Mumbai by flight (B)

On the third day after the breakfast at the hotel you check-out with the luggage that would be settled in the car. But, before saying goodbye to the city our representative along with chauffeur will take you to the Ellora Caves. Ellora has an unremitting sequence of monasteries and temples that showcase the civilization of ancient India. There are total 34 cave temples which are dedicated to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. It is a proof to religious harmony that existed at that time. With the visit to Ellora, your tour comes to an end as we drop you to the Aurangabad airport around 4 -5 PM, to board a flight to Mumbai ( Flight will depart from Aurangabad between 6 - 8 PM) from where you can continue to your further travel plans.

 *Ajanta caves closed on every Monday and Ellora Caves closed on every Tuesday. If you are doing this tour on Monday or Tuesday then we reschedule the visit according to days open.
