Your licensed and knowledgeable tour guide will pick you and your party up at your hotel. You will be transported to the metro station where you will enjoy a smooth ride along with pleasant views of the city, the river, and of the Andes mountains that surround the valley.
The first stop is in Downtown Medellin, where you will be mesmerized by the magnificent sculptures of maestro Fernando Botero, one of the world's most renowned sculptors. Bring a good camera, because your guides have taken photography courses and will be delighted to take postcard perfect images of you embracing these large sculptures for your memories.
From here we continue on foot to really feel the vibe of the downtown area and experience rich historical content from certified guide, regarding old colonial churches, plazas, the stunning cultural palace, and much more.
Next, you will jump on board the aerial Metro cable - this sturdy and well maintained cable car will take you to your next destination, the Santo Domingo Savio library. This modern edifice was donated by the King of Spain. Delight your eyes with breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
The gorgeous, picturesque town of El Pueblito Paisa in central Medellin is next on the list. This delightfully charming town is reminiscent of how Medellin looked in the past. Excellent tour of the beautiful city! Our guide, Oscar, was the best. He was very knowledgeable and gave us insight into the city’s people, politics, artists, and drug lords. We learned so much, and had a fantastic time exploring the best parts of Medellin. Highly recommend!

Bring a note pad and pen. Better yet bring a recorder. The amount of information Alex gives you regarding the Escobar years as well as personal family experience is more than one can remember. He has exact details on names, dates, who is who, who did what, etc. His English skills are excellent so you don't need to worry about a strong accent and not being able to understand. The travel accommodations he provides are very comfortable, convenient, roomy, and relaxing. Alex knows the layout of the city and how to quickly move around. He is also good at providing in-depth background on the Escobar topics for a more complete understand of the history. Good job, Alex. Thank you
