Tour di un giorno da Palma verso montagne, villaggi e una spiaggia nascosta
Pssst… è un segreto. La vera bellezza di Maiorca è di fatto nascosta alla maggior parte dei turisti, che trascorrere tutto il proprio tempo libero sulle spiagge affollate che tutti conoscono. Invece di seguire la folla, tieniti in un dimensione locale con questo tour di Maiorca, che ti mostra dov'è possibile trovare la vera bellezza, che solo la gente del posto conosce. Accodati ai locali mentre fai trekking verso un angolo di isola unico, ben al di là delle spiagge affollate del sud.
Vi incontrerete in città, quindi prenderete un comodo autobus locale per raggiungere il punto l'inizio del nostro percorso a piedi. Da lì, il sentiero che seguirai è un percorso storico, una volta utilizzato dai portalettere per andare da un villaggio all'altro. Mentre cammini, potrai imparare qualcosa sulle locali piante mediterranee e fare una sosta per ammirare la vista panoramica dalla cima di una montagna. Arriverai nel centro storico del borgo Serra Tramuntana e scoprirai le influenze arabe nell'architettura locale e le tradizioni agricole.
In seguito, arriverai a una spiaggia nascosta, beh, nascosta ai turisti, che è quello che conta! La gente del posto ama andare qui, e tu potrai unirti a loro mentre approfitti del sole e del mare e ti immergi in un delizioso pranzo tradizionale a base di piatti tipici e bevande di Maiorca, come empanadas e cocas de trampò. Potrai anche assaporare qualche delizioso dessert come l'ensaimada o un gateaux con mandorle... delizioso! Tutte queste prelibatezze provengono dallo storico forno del villaggio e la gente del posto le ama, e anche tu le apprezzerai!
Nei mesi estivi, potrai smaltire il pranzo con un tuffo in mare; in inverno, potrai metterti al sole e immergerti nella tranquilla atmosfera mediterranea.
Al pomeriggio, potrai nuovamente salire a bordo dell'autobus locale per fare ritorno a Palma, dove sarai libero di esplorare i dintorni per conto proprio.
Nota che questo tour a piedi è abbastanza facile e lungo un sentiero ben segnato. La passeggiata dura circa tre ore (soste incluse), con dislivelli di 300 metri a salire e quasi 400 metri a scendere.

Inoltre, assicurati di portare con te crema solare, cappello, costume da bagno, asciugamano e una bottiglia di acqua in un piccolo zaino. Se lo desideri, puoi portare con te anche una maschera da snorkeling, così da avvistare la fauna marina!
- Nota per favore che abbiamo classificato la parte di escursione del tour con un livello medio di difficoltà. Occorrono circa 3 ore (incluse le soste) per un totale di 10 chilometri, con dislivelli di 300 metri a salire e quasi 400 metri a scendere.
- Chiusura dei siti: nel caso malaugurato di cattivo tempo, posticiperemo il tour al giorno seguente. Questo tour è disponibile tutto l'anno, ma nota che non è possibile nuotare durante i mesi invernali.

This hiking trip was truly awsome and we had a wonderful day in the nature. Our guide, Andrea was very nice and knowledgeable. We had a small group and interesting conversations on the way. The views were beautiful, the nature amazing. The food from the local bakery was very tasty. I can really recommend it!
This was a wonderful tour. We liked experiencing the history of the island by hiking between villages on the routes the postmen used to take before the roads were built. We liked buying local foods at a village bakery and then enjoying them for lunch out on the path. The figs we picked off a tree along the path were wonderful. We had beautiful views of the villages tucked into the hillsides with the Mediterranean Sea in the background. We even got to take a dip in the Mediterranean. We enjoyed having a small group so that we could get to know the other people on the tour. Our guides Marialaura and Laura told us interesting information about the history, culture, and plants of the area and got us samples from some of the trees along the way like the strawberry tree and fig tree. We would highly recommend this tour.
From greeting us in the traditional Spanish style with two hugs, to making certain that we each knew our way back to our hotel/apartment, Marialaura made our day exceptional. After a short bus trip, a stop at a bakery in Esporles to buy a typical Spanish lunch, we started the Cami des Correu trail which was built in 1401 as a postal trail joining Esporles in the hills to the seaside village of Banyalbufar. The trail takes you through the scenic Tramuntana Mountains, past olive tree terraces and vineyards with stunning vistas. Marialaura's knowledge of and passion for the people, the plants, food and history of the region made this tour one of the best I have ever taken. It takes about three hours including a picnic lunch and climbs about 500 metres along a well groomed path. I would high recommend taking any tour hosted by Urban Adventures Mallorca. Wish the Viator site would allow me to post more photos.
I had a wonderful day with our guide Kathrin and the group on this tour. I was stunned that with urban adventures the travel groups have a small size which made the hiking way easier. Kathrin was sharing her knowledge about the route and Mallorca's eco system in a very pleasant way. It was worth it!
