Da sapere su questa attività
Appuntamento in Piazzale Verdi presso l'antica Porta San Donato, dove si trova il centro informazioni turistiche, adiacente alle storiche mura rinascimentali. Percorri Via San Paolino, che corrisponde all'antica strada romana (Decumanus Maximus).

Our tour guide was fantastic! Our bus dropped us off at the wrong location. We called Turis Lucca and our tour guide drove her bike to meet us! She was passionate and knowledgeable about the area and the History of Lucca. Brilliant way to see Lucca.

The tour was very informative and it was a great introduction to the town of Lucca. Roberta told us about the history of Lucca and gave us many insights into life in Lucca and some of the more interesting characters in its history.

It was very nice walking tour, that took more than 2 hours. A small group of 3 ladies and charming guide Roberta. We visited almost all interesting places of Lucca, learned a lot about the history of this ancient town, the great musicians, borned here. Very unusual ancient Amphitheatre, now the living house with the square instead of arena. We had the pleasure to walk along town walls, decorated with trees. Excellent tour, thanks.

Learning about Lucca from a passionate, intelligent, and funny local was perfect. Tons of interesting history and stories that increased our appreciation. Easy pace, without ever feeling bored, guide did a seamless job translating in English and Italian so neither party was confused or impatient. Thx!

We would never recommend this City Tour. While it said that the Tour was in English which was true, it also was in German and Italian. So EVERY stop took forever as the guide translated in more than one language! We finally gave up and left the tour. VERY disappointing.

While not a big city, the compact walled city is easy to walk around within a couple of hours. Our tour guide was a lovely lady with a smile and friendly approach, but also very knowledgeable about every site we stopped at. At the end of the tour, she was happy to walk round the cathedral and answer questions outside off the tour. Highly recommend.

If you are going to visit Pisa you have to do this walking tour of Lucca. It was one of our favorite cities in Italy to visit. The local tour guide was excellent, friendly, and conducted the tour in both Italian and English. Lucca is amazing and I believe is the only completely walled city left in Italy. Plenty of parking outside the wall and at the visitor center where we met our tour guide. Lucca is a must to visit if you are going to spend time in the Tuscany region.
