Tour panoramico della città di Londra comprese la Torre di Londra e la City di Londra (4 ore e mezza) Incontra la guida in Trafalgar Square, poi accomodati al tuo comodo posto a sedere a bordo di un pullman con aria condizionata. Indossa le innovative cuffie Vox all'inizio del tuo tour in modo da poter ascoltare la guida mentre parla chiaramente di ogni sito.
La prima tappa è un tour guidato della cattedrale di St Paul. Coronata dalla magnifica cupola che continua a dominare lo skyline di Londra, la cattedrale è stata ricostruita dopo il grande incendio di Londra del 1666. Negli ultimi anni è stata lo scenario del matrimonio di Carlo, Principe di Galles, con Lady Diana Spencer e dei servizi sia per il Giubileo d'Oro che per l'ottantesimo compleanno di Sua Maestà la Regina.
Quindi dirigiti alla Torre di Londra, l'antica fortezza intrisa in secoli di omicidi e tradimenti. Le guardie della torre, i cosiddetti Beefeater, dai sontuosi abiti tradizionali, ti racconteranno la storia della Torre, comprese le tragiche storie dei reali e dei nobili che trovarono la morte all'interno delle sue mura. Potrai anche vedere i Gioielli della Corona, tra cui il diamante di 6.000 anni Koh-I-Noor e i suggestivi paramenti per l'incoronazione.
Quindi prosegui per la City di Londra, la famosa piazza quadrata dove la nuova architettura si sovrappone agli edifici risalenti al Medio Evo.
Il tour si conclude in Trafalgar Square circa un'ora prima che ci si debba rincontrare per il tour successivo.
Tour nei luoghi di Jack lo Squartatore e passeggiata dei fantasmi di Londra (3 ore) Raggiungi il luogo con il pullman in Trafalgar Square o lungo la vicina Strand. Quindi, mentre viaggi verso la prima tappa, ascolta la guida che crea l'atmosfera per il tour serale. Siamo nell'anno 1888. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ha appena pubblicato il suo primo romanzo su Sherlock Holmes; nel frattempo, nel quartiere di Whitechapel dell'East End di Londra, cinque donne vengono brutalmente assassinate dal primo serial killer riconosciuto a livello mondiale, Jack lo squartatore.
Guada fuori dal finestrino e osserva attrazioni quali il Theatre Royal Drury Lane, che è ritenuto il teatro più infestato di Londra e l'Old Bailey, un luogo di numerose impiccagioni pubbliche. Visiterai inoltre Fleet Street, dove abitavano il diabolico barbiere Sweeney Todd e la sua complice, la signora Lovett, che, stando a quanto si dice, sfornava torte preparate con la carne delle vittime e le vendeva agli ignari clienti.
A Whitechapel, scendi dal pullman per ispezionare alcuni dei luoghi degli omicidi compiuti da Jack lo Squartatore, decifra gli indizi e discuti in merito ai sospetti. Vedrai anche il pub Ten Bells, aperto nel 1752, frequentato da molte delle vittime dello spietato assassino.
Il tour termina in un pub tradizionale vicino a Trafalgar Square, dove puoi calmare i nervi con un drink (a tue spese).

Because this was really two tours patched together, I'm kind of sad that the star rating doesn't let me separate them. The first part of the tour was led by Leslie, who was very knowledgeable about London, and St. Paul's in particular. She clearly was interested in the stories of the Cathedral's survival during WWII, and the stories of the heroics were well told. She also did a good job describing why the Cathedral was built and decorated the way it was, why it has a dome, and why one part is colored in decor while the rest is in white and shades of gray. There was time to wander as well. The Tower tour, though...well...there was a general description of the building and its history, and a trip to the Crown Jewels, but unfortunately she became fascinated with a wedding that may or may not have been happening. We had visited the Tower earlier, with a guide who was more interested in the seamier side of Tower's history. Most of that history had more to do with deaths and funerals than weddings. We were left with scant time to visit much more than the armory in the White Tower before we had to leave. Before the guide went off, we asked when and where we were to gather for the Ripper tour, and she got the time wrong. So: fun time at St. Paul's, less fun with the Tower. Phil was our guide for the Jack the Ripper tour. He not only went over the facts, but was an expert at getting in to the spaces where events actually happened even if urban improvements had covered them up. His descriptions were graphic, but necessary, and he gave a complete overview of the events and the theories. He did it without wearing a Victorian costume, but held attention without tricks. There were no ghosts mentioned on the tour, but it was enough without the ghosts. The fish and chips sample, from Poppies Fish and Chips in Spitalfields, were the best that I've ever had. My grown son has not willingly eaten fish in fifteen years, but this time he asked for mine. Which I'd already consumed. Sorry, son. So: St. Pauls, very good. Tower, vague and disappointing. Ghostless Ripper tour, a well developed, well practiced presentation and utterly fascinating.

The Tour guide and Coach driver were both great! The only negative I have is that the second part of the tour, the Jack the Ripper walk tour was cancelled the day before. I was contacted via email so at least I knew about it but it was still a disappointment. The tour guide, Lesley really made the tour throughly enjoyable.
