Dopo il tuo trasferimento nel centro di Londra, partirai per Cardiff, nel Galles. Lungo il percorso avrai a disposizione una pausa di 45 minuti. Sarai raggiunto da una guida gallese, quindi arriverai a Cardiff, dove sarai accompagnato in un tour della città. La guida ti indicherà alcune delle principali attrazioni, come il Castello di Cardiff e il Museo nazionale. Intorno alle 13:30, al termine del tour, goditi un'ora di tempo libero per dare un'occhiata intorno a Cardiff e magari pranzare. Ci sono molti ristoranti e caffetterie con una vista meravigliosa sulla baia di Cardiff.

Intorno alle 14:30, parti dal centro della città per dirigerti al Castello di Caerphilly (Castello di Cardiff). Il castello, costruito da Glbert de Clare nel XIII secolo, occupa circa 12 ettari di terreno ed è il secondo castello più grande della Gran Bretagna. All'arrivo, effettuerai un tour a piedi e poi avrai del tempo libero per esplorare la città medievale autonomamente.

Intorno alle 16:30, partiremo per il rientro a Londra. Durante il percorso di ritorno verso il punto di rientro, avrai a disposizione una pausa di 30 minuti. Arrivo nel centro di Londra intorno alle 9:00.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this trip. Great driver, tour guide, and we especially liked our introduction to Wales. The added trip to Caerphilly Castle was the topper.

We were looking forward to going, but were disappointed that the bus driver didn’t point out anything (we saw Windsor Castle in the distance.) So there is no tour guide for the 2.5 hour trip there and back (longer back due to traffic.) Our guide was pompous and did not seem to enjoy getting asked questions. He was irritated as it was the same day as the Cheese Festival and so there were big crowds. He was so happy to be done with us—only toured on the bus briefly and then did his shopping in Cardiff; only gave us a quick tour of the castle and we were on our own—maybe that’s the way it was set up, but if he weren’t so irritated, it would have been better. Cardiff has some cute shops and the castle was cool, but better to do Stonehenge or Windsor Castle, which I’ve also done.

The driver took us in the wrong direction all the way to Wolverhampton for the service stuff, and we arrived at Cardiff at around 2:30-2:45 ish instead of 11:45.We only had 30 minutes in the Caerphilly castle and then only got to spend about 1 hr in Cardiff for exploring which was hardly any time. The Caerphilly castle was really impressive. I didnt even get a chance to go inside the Cardiff castle due to time. So we had about 1.5 hrs in Wales total. Cardiff was also very touristy so I was not impressed. Do not go on this trip unless you have not been to many parts of the UK. The rest of my trip was on the bus. I did not pay 56 pounds to ride the bus for 8-9 hours. I probably spent about 12 hours commuting that day. It was just disappointing.

This was a fun day, but I was dropped off at a completely different place than I was picked up, which I was not expecting. I ended up lost in the middle of London. Thankfully I found a policeman to help me find my way. The tour guides were very patient with my mobility needs, though. I do wish more time was spent actually in Cardiff, but the trip to Caerphilly castle was fun, too!

THIS TRIP WAS A BIG MISTAKE. PICK UP AT 7:30 A.M. THEN PICKING UP PEOPLE ALL OVER LONDON FOR THE NEXT HOUR AND A HALF. DRIVING FOUR HOURS TO CARDIFF, SPENDING ONE HOUR IN THE CITY CENTER AND AND A SHORT AREA TOUR BY A DECENT LOCAL TOUR GUIDE FOLLOWED BY EXPLORING THE LARGEST CASTLE IN WALES. WE HAD LITTLE TIME TO WALK AROUND THE CITY AND ONLY SAW CARDIFF CASTLE BY DRIVING BY IT. A LONG 15 HOUR DAY THAT WASN'T WORTH IT. GOT BACK TO LONDON AT 9:30 AT NIGHT. ALL THAT TIME WASTED PICKING PEOPLE UP ALL OVER LONDON AND NO TIME IN CARDIFF.
