Inizia il tour a piedi di Lisbona da Piazza Restauradores, il luogo perfetto per ascoltare un po' di storia di Lisbona. Inizia esplorando il magnetico quartiere della Mouraria, un crogiolo di culture e una delle zone più moderne della città, dove i turisti non si avventurano molto spesso. Passa per piccole chiese, moschee e negozi che vendono prodotti da molto lontano. Ascolta la storia del Fado, il genere musicale portoghese per eccellenza, patrimonio culturale immateriale dell'UNESCO, mentre passeggi accanto al luogo di nascita della leggendaria Maria Severa (la prima superstar del Fado).

Quindi visita una piccola panetteria nascosta, dove i dolci e il caffè tradizionali ti daranno un assaggio delle delizie locali e un'idea della vita di Lisbona. Quindi, supera a piedi la bellissima stazione ferroviaria Rossio in stile gotico, visita Piazza Rossio (la piazza principale di Lisbona) e scopri quanto è cambiata la città dopo il devastante terremoto del 1755, che distrusse l'85 percento della città.

Continua a visitare i monumenti storici, le chiese e le altre attrazioni, prima di fermarti nuovamente per un assaggio di formaggi portoghesi e marmellata prodotta in loco. Quindi ammira la pittoresca Piazza do Carmo con il suo splendido Convento do Carmo, e prosegui a piedi fino alla cima della famosa funicolare di Santa Justa, per ammirare una vista meravigliosa.

Quindi fai un breve giro in traghetto sul fiume Tago verso le pittoresche Cacilhas, dove ti aspettano il vino verde portoghese e il pesce appena pescato. Goditi le magnifiche viste dalla sponda sud prima di tornare al centro di Lisbona.

We began this tour a short walk from the ship. Very busy place but we found Sofia and another guide collecting large number of people. They split the group and away we went. Sofia told us this would be a tour about experiencing Lisbon and it met that goal with flying colors. Coffee at a little tucked away cafe, port wine and a small snack, and finally lunch after a ride no the local ferry. This was truly a Lisbon experience with a guide who could tell us the stories necessary to understand what we were looking at as we walked. She told the stories of the country, the city, and the people.

I took this tour on August 1, 2019 and Madalena was the tour guide. Let me start by saying that I was just under 10 minutes late (could not get off the cruise ship fast enough) and it took a very nice person to call the tour company for me. But, Madalena came back for me and I didn't miss anything. She had to walk a little ways and was very nice about it. The tour in general was quite good. Madalena is very knowledgeable about the city and provided a nice city tour. We sampled a couple of local restaurants and she took us to a spot with a great view of the city. I recommend this tour.

Way too long, way too much useless info way too little food, sorry! We travel a lot and this was not great. For a good foodie experience try booking at Bela Vinhos E Petiscos ! Unlimited food and drinks while listening to great Fado music for I think it was 30€. THAT was a good time!

We've done some walking food tours in the past and decided this was the best way to get to see Lisbon as well. We only had a day there and this tour was everything and more! Caterina was magnificent! By the end of the tour we were all friends but Caterina was special! She was so great at demonstrating the Portuguese pride and showcasing why this city is so rich in history and culture. She took us to the most amazing places with great views. Make sure to book this tour with Caterina! Love her!

Inez was an excellent guide...She was friendly kind helpful and energized!!....She is a historian by education and gave us a great insight into the history of Lisbon and Portugal in general.

Three small bites over 4 hours. I’ve been on a lot of food tours in other cities and this was by far the worst. Why take a ferry across the river for a few shrimp when there are tons of restaurants in Lisbon? Why take us for a custard pastry and tell us your favorite place is somewhere else? Very cheaply done and our guide Carolina did not seem like an expert on the city or the food. Very disappointing.

Margarita was our guide and she was beyond lovely! We could have spent so much more time with her - her knowledge and warm personality were so appreciated. We saw several beautiful sites and all of the food/wine we tasted was delicious. This was a wonderful introduction to Lisbon - we got a taste of the food, and also a sense of the city's history and geography - we left wanting to see/eat/drink/do/learn more in this wonderful city!
