Il tour inizia con il prelievo al tuo hotel in un veicolo dotato di aria condizionata nell'area di Kuta intorno alle 01:30 o nell'area di Ubud intorno alle 02:30. Il viaggio per il monte Batur dura circa 2 ore e mezza da Kuta oppure 1 ora e mezza da Ubud.

All'arrivo al punto di partenza del trekking, la guida esperta di trekking ti farà una breve introduzione e un briefing sulle istruzioni di sicurezza. Tutte le guide sono balinesi e scalano il monte Batur da quando sono bambini. Sapranno trasmetterti la conoscenza e la passione per questa regione di Bali.

Ti godrai 1 ora e mezza di trekking per raggiungere la cima del cratere all'alba.

Dopo l'arrivo in cima ti verrà offerta la colazione e ammirerai l'incredibile vista dell'alba e dei dintorni.

Dopo la colazione, avrai il tempo di camminare attorno al cratere prima di attraversare una collina di lava e sabbia nera e poi scendere dal monte.

Visiterai una piantagione di caffè balinese prima di essere riaccompagnato al tuo alloggio.

Great experience. Bring a coat. This is no easy hike for most as some may claim. It is cooooold at the top, the food may not be your cup of tea, so bring a snack. Absolutely gorgeous view, worth the hike!!!! They also have the option to take a scooter/ dirt bike most of the way up.

Awesome experience! Wayan picked us up from our hotel in Ubud at 2:30 AM in his late model SUV. The drive to Mount Batur took a little over an hour where we were promptly met by our trekking guide. Trip up the volcano is made in the dark with a flashlight and is more strenuous than we expected. That being said we made it to the top at 5:20, about an hour before sunrise. Looking back on it we should have hiked slower and taken more breaks so that we didn't have as much time on the top before sunrise. The top of the volcano is extremely windy and cold so I would recommend you bring a jacket, but luckily our guide had an extra jacket for my wife. Breakfast was basic, but adequate and the sunrise was beautiful. Our guide then took us down from the summit to see a deep hole with volcano steam and the resident wild monkeys who are actually friendlier than the monkeys at Ubud's Monkey Forest. From there we hiked back down to where we started. All in all the experience was unforgettable and we would highly recommend it!

I highly recommend trekking up Mt Batur for the sunrise - it's absolutely stunning and the trek is fairly easy. Our pickup was very punctual and the car was comfortable, we slept on the way. Our guide was fantastic, really good fun to talk to and of course he led us to the top. Would go again!

This was definitely worth getting up at 1am for! The hike was perfectly paced with lots of breaks on the way up and we enjoyed a yummy breakfast of banana sandwiches, boiled eggs and a chocolate bar at top. We had a slight issue on the day of our tour but it was easily rearranged for the next day

Wasn't too sure about getting up at 2 am to go hiking. But this was awesome the views were unexplainably beautiful. Our tour guide and driver were really great too and very considerate and helpful!

Unfortunately we did not get to see the sunrise due to the clouds .But I guess nature was playing Peek a Boo with us and showing us the other brilliant stuff it has in store from up there. The trek was great ... 1700 mts to climb .....
