Epidauro e Micene per Piccoli Gruppi da Atene
Il tour inizia con il servizio di prelievo presso il tuo hotel o appartamento ad Atene nelle prime ore del mattino. Viaggiando per un'ora dalla città di Atene, passerai dal famoso Canale di Corinto (breve sosta) che collega il golfo Saronico al Golfo di Corinto e che divide la Grecia continentale dal Peloponneso.
Lasciandoti alle spalle il canale di Corinto e dopo 1 ora di viaggio, entrerai nella regione dell'Argolide, terra della Micene omerica "ricca d'oro", patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO; sali per visitare il sito archeologico, dimora del mitico re Agamennone. Passeggia e ascolta i miti e la storia dei luoghi che attraversi: le Mura Ciclopiche, la Porta del Leone e le tombe reali di Agamennone e di sua moglie Clitennestra e il Tesoro Atreo.
La tappa successiva è la pittoresca Nauplia, la prima capitale della Grecia moderna, con la sua fortezza veneziana Palamidi e l'isolotto fortificato Bourtzi, nel cuore del porto. Lì, è prevista una gradevole pausa per il pranzo (opzione extra) in un ristorante tradizionale con piatti della cucina greca. Approfitta del tempo libero per passeggiare per le stradine di questa bellissima città, coi suoi edifici classici risalenti al XVI - XVII secolo.
Continua verso Epidauro e visita il teatro antico. Avrai a disposizione un'opportunità unica per ascoltare tutte le informazioni sulla storia di questo patrimonio mondiale dell'umanità unico, risalente al IV secolo, uno dei teatri meglio conservati della Grecia classica, ancora oggi utilizzato per la sua incredibile acustica.
Lascia il Peloponneso per tornare ad Atene. Questo tour termina nel tardo pomeriggio, ti lasceremo al tuo hotel o appartamento.

If it wasn't for the beautiful places that we visit, this tour was a disaster because of the guide. He didn't explained anything, and he was bothered when we asked any question about the history of each site. Beware if the booking tour company in Greece is GETAWAYS GREECE!
I chose this tour - organized by Getaways Greece - based not only on the sites visited, but because they offer free-time in Nafplio for lunch and site-seeing. So many other tour companies only lunched in their own company restaurants, which sounded terrible from reviews I've read. With Getaways Greece, I was able to eat where I wished while in Nafplio. The driver and coordinator, Spiros, was kind and prompt even giving us options for how to arrange our day. The licensed tour guide, Vicky, was fresh from archaeological school and showed a true passion for the subject. The tour of Epidaurus was enhanced by her personal experience excavating at the site over the past two Summers. She showed us that Epidaurus was so much more than an ancient theater. The pacing was great for those of us less physically fit. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was enjoyable, and we appreciated stopping at some places to buy souvenirs. The tours of Epidaurus and Mycenae were informative. We would have appreciated spending more time in Nafplio, but our time was cut short because the other couple on the tour wanted to head back to Athens after Epidaurus. We stopped in Nafplio for early lunch after Mycenae and were supposed to return after Epidaurus to spend some time exploring this quaint town. Sadly, my daughter's expectation of swimming in Nafplio as suggested by the driver when we were picked up for the tour was not going to happen because we did not return to Nafplio we made it up to her later in our vacation.
Great tour by a great tour guide Christos. Pick up was on time! You have to do this tour, its one of the best in Athens in my opinion. Definitely, recommend it, the guys are professional! Merry Christmas
That was a great tour! First of all, this small group tour provides great flexibility and saves a lot of time!Driver picked us up from our hotel and after a short drive of nearly 1 hour we reach the Corinth Canal where we had a short stop for a coffee.Great views there on top of the Canal which connects Athens with Peloponnese. After an hour drive we reached the ancient theatre of Epidaurus where we met with our official guide. The guide talked us with great passion for the monuments and explained everything about the ancient's theatre backround. Our next stop was the ancient city of Mycenae where the guide explained everything about one of the first civilazation in ancient Greece. Last stop the city of Nafplio - first capital of Greece- where we had free time for lunch and time to discover this beautifull place.. Had an amazing time!!! Definatelly recomended!
