After being picked up from your centrally located Ho Chi Minh City hotel, your first stop is a visit to a Vietnamese foreigner market, here

you'll learn about different kinds of fruits, seafood, meats and dry stock in the market. You will also have a chance to buy some ingredients or

souvenirs.

You will also get an understanding of the price building of farming products, the price the farmer gets for his goods and the price the

middlemen sell them for in the cities.

After visiting the markets, your next stop is too the HCM Agricultural Villages - HCM cooking school. The chef will demonstrate how to make the mushrooms and give you a nice Vietnamese hat then he or she will guide you around on the farm where you will have a great chance to see cows, buffalo, chicken, duck, fish, Prawn, mushrooms and many different types of herbs, spices, vegetables. You will learn how to use them all for cooking and medicine as well.

You'll be provided with your own basket and scissors and have a chance to collect all of the vegetables that you use for cooking later on.

After experiencing great challenges on the farm, you will enjoy nice Vietnamese fruits and relax in a hammock for few a minutes before you start your cooking class. You will cook four dishes and enjoy all of it by your labor. The cooking class is lead by Master Chef Tan who has amazing cooking skills and great knowledge about healthy foods and will show you step by step how to make nice, simple and delicious food. This class is very hands on, so make sure you are ready for the challenge.

Once you have finished cooking and enjoyed your meal, you will be provided with a certificate and recipes. The chef will also collect your

email and send you unlimited recipes if you wish.

Excellent from start to finish. Guide was lovely and spoke excellent English. Fascinating tour of the market and the garden to pick some of the ingredients. Easy to follow instructions from the chef to make some delicious dishes. Transfer to and from the class was very good. Excellent day out.

This was a great and fun experience cooking genuine healthy Vietnamese food. The location its out of town on a quiet small family farm. The chef was entertaining, helpful, patient and knowledgable. You prepared more food than you could realistically eat. Worth every dollar.
