Incontra la guida nella strada San Jeronimo vicino la cattedrale di Granada e inizia la passeggiata serale nella splendida Albaicin. Classificato come sito patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO, il quartiere si estende su una collina adiacente all'Alhambra, ed è noto per le sue viste sul complesso del palazzo sullo sfondo della catena montuosa della Sierra Nevada.
Esplora la zona con la guida e ammira le cármenes (le ville di Granada) e i loro splendidi giardini che fiancheggiano le strade. L'architettura moresca abbonda in questo affascinante quartiere, e la guida ti indicherà alcuni dei migliori esempi mentre narra la storia del periodo in cui regnavano i mori.
Dopo aver ammirato le viste panoramiche dell'Alhambra, un'altra straordinaria città patrimonio dell'umanità, prosegui a piedi da Albaicin alle grotte di Sacromonte. Costruite sulle pendici del Cerro de San Miguel, le grotte erano abitate originariamente dai gitani spagnoli e la zona divenne un famoso luogo di incontro per la comunità, per ballare flamenco e per rilassarsi.
Oggi è un ricercato quartiere residenziale, eppure Sacromonte conserva ancora il suo fascino di mondo antico e suggestivo, rappresentando il cuore del flamenco di Granada. Ammira la vista dell'Alhambra illuminata, arroccata sulla collina La Sabica.
Dopo aver esplorato la città di notte, fermati in uno dei famosi bar di tapas di Granada, vicino a Plaza Nueva, per gustare un drink (vino, birra alla spina o bevanda analcolica) e un piatto di tapas locali. Il tour termina all'interno del bar, ma è possibile rimanere per gustare altro cibo e bevande a proprie spese, se lo si desidera.

Worth every penny! Be prepared to walk, flat shoes required, I did it in flip flops which were fine, but avoid heals at all costs! This provided stunning views of the Alhambra and surrounding area at sunset and our guide was knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting from start to finish.

We shared this tour with 2 others may I recommend that you wear flat shoes with grip as it takes you over very uneven and hilly surfaces. Our guide was amazing and took us firstly up to the top of Granada's Gypsy cave area which provided magnificent views over the valley below and the Alhambra. The tour started at 8pm and as we wound our way through this fascinating area learning about the history of why the gypsies chose to settle here and about their unique cave dwellings, we were able to capture the most magnificant dusk photo's of the Alhambra. We slowly walked through a maze of narrow alley ways which gradually lead us down the steep hills where at times the space just opened up to a little plaza full of locals meeting up for drinks and food or just chatting and various eateries. Our guide provided much local information about the area and Granada and its history as he had grown up here, he spoke excellent English and was happy to take photo's for us. The tour took a couple of hours and finished with us at the base of the the walls of Alhambra and the old part of the town at a local bar for Tapas and a drink. We all thoroughly enjoyed this and all sat and chatted for another hour including our host whom delighted us with stories of Granada. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to really experience the öld partof Granada and the gypsy area as to do this on your own you would indeed get lost and miss some of the best parts that only a local can show you. Though you do need a degree of fitness we are in our early and mid 60s and feel persons whom are unstable on their feet would not be able to do this tour safely. Our guide was amazing and made the tour very enjoyable and feel this tour is a must do.

This tour was fabulous. Our guide, Juan was extremely knowledgeable of the city's history and was able to convey to us how life was like for the people of Granada in the middle ages. The secret, off the beaten path sections of Granada he showed us were great and he gave us a good idea of life in the Albaicin and Sacromonte section of Granada. Juan is an awesome tour guide. Because of his background in history and languages, he was very helpful to my son's research project about Al Andalus which was a plus for us. We later spent some time with Juan at the tapas bar and we found him to be charming, nice and very personable. It was truly a great experience.
