Vimotions brings you this interesting activity to do in the coasts of the south of Gran Canaria. This fishing boat, with a capacity for 10 passengers and 2 crewmen, takes off from the Puerto Rico pier and remains in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean for 5 or 6 hours to do a good fishing session.

There two daily trips: one at 09:00 and another at 15:30. Returns happen at 15:00 and 20:30, respectively.

Depending on the season of the year, the boat practises one of two fishing modalities: legering or trolling.

Legering, also known as bottom fishing, (during highseason, from late September until March) refers to the most common way of fishing techniques, used to catch fish that are found near the sea floor.

Trolling (during offseason, from April until September) is a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait fish, are drawn through the water.

Activity includes a short break to rest and enjoy a delicious snack consisting on a sandwich, fresh fruit and a refreshment.

A car will pick you at your hotel, as long as you are staying in the south of Gran Canaria. From your hotel, you will go to the Puerto Rico pier, where the boat sets sail.
