Dopo l'incontro con la guida in Piazza della Repubblica, tuffati nella scena gastronomica di Firenze visitando le tipiche gastronomie dove i fiorentini acquistano ogni giorno prodotti freschi. La maggior parte dei venditori delle gastronomie sono anche proprietari dei negozi e sono specializzati nei prodotti che vendono, il che li rende massimi esperti di cibo.
Entra in un negozio italiano specializzato in Parmigiano Reggiano, aceto balsamico e prosciutto provenienti da alcune delle migliori zone d'Italia. Goditi un cappuccino in una boutique del cioccolato e, naturalmente, assaggia uno o due cioccolatini mentre ti trovi lì. Potrai anche fare una sosta alla più antica cantina di vini a Firenze, che si trova a destra dell'inconfondibile Duomo.
Continua visitando uno dei più vivaci marketplace di Firenze. Osserva la gente del posto mentre fa la spesa quotidiana e assaggia una selezione di prodotti freschi, mozzarella di bufala, ricotta e altri formaggi. Prova il prosciutto stagionato toscano affettato al coltello, pane fresco, porchetta arrosto, nonché un assaggio di olive direttamente da un'azienda agricola della Costiera Amalfitana. Nel tragitto, scopri dalla guida le tradizioni dietro questi cibi.
Nella parte coperta del mercato, passa in rassegna le bancarelle piene di pasta fatta a mano, formaggio, pesce, carne e pollame. Concludi in bellezza il tour con un bicchiere di vino (o di gazzosa), accompagnato da pane tostato e condimenti di stagione. Dopo 2 ore, il tour si concluderà al punto di partenza.

We actually could not find the meeting place and there was no number to call to find out where it was, so we missed it. Very disappointed .

A through tour of an important part of Florence. We sampled sweets, coffee, meats and cheeses, all were great. Our guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.

This was a wonderful tour. Linda, our guide, lead us through Florence telling us the history while sampling the local cuisine. She didn't rush us through our tour but leisurely strolled through the streets of Florence. It was obvious that she loves her job and loves sharing her city with people. I highly recommend this tour. It is worth every cent.

This was a fun and informative tour. We went to several markets, tasted a lot of yummy things from chocolate to cheese and meat. We stopped for pastries and coffee or chocolate, which was paid for as part of the tour. Isabella was our guide, and she was helpful and answered our many questions. I would highly recommend this tour.

We took this tour on the first day of our vacation... and what a way to start ! When we met our guide, Isabelle, she informed us us that we were the only 2 people on the tour, what a wonderful surprise... she not only took us to the most amazing food markets, she provided information on culture around the various types of foods and wines. We sampled so many wonderful things ... coffee, pastries, chocolate, cheeses, charcuteries... and more. She even provided us with some great restaurant suggestions! Isabelle was a great guide.... the tour was well worth it ... I would absolutely recommend it ! What a way to start a vacation!
