The tour was very well organized. Our guide was wonderful. The day was long and busy but we knew that going into the day. Everything went well. Lunch was wonderful. The trains were not on schedule between the towns but that was out of the tour company's control. A smaller group would have been the preference.

This tour is great if you have limited time and just want to be able to say you have seen Cinque. The first two villages were quite rushed and we were sorry worried about the dire warnings of not being on time we wasted time by being early. We were lucky enough to do the boat trip, viewing Cinque Terre from the ocean is a must do. If you have time I would recommend a self- paced tour of Cinque, basing yourself in one of the villages. Tour guide Luca was great and kept us all on our toes and the bus driver Luca was amazing with how he navigated the streets.

This tour was wonderful. Our tour guide, Frederica, was helpful. She was able to bring us around to all of the 5 villages. I thought we had enough time to visit each village; we loved taking the boat tour! We did select the lunch included, and although the lunch very good, I would have opted out of it. We sat with people in our tour and would have much gathered preferred to eat lunch and explore on our own. Overall, we had a beautiful day.

The Cinque Terre tour was memorable for its fabulous scenery. People should bring their swimwear because there is enough time given to swim in the water. We had a good time because the tour guide (Constantino) was funny, entertaining and precise with his instructions. His yellow umbrella was easy to follow despite the heavy crowds.

Several years ago my daughter took a summer class in Florence and visited Cinque Terre. We wanted to see the different villages. Other people on our excursion wanted to swim on its rocky beaches. Our bus drove 2 hours to a train station and then took a train to the first village. We had enough time to visit the shops and get something for breakfast (and use the bathroom). The next stop we had more time for sight seeing, found a small beach, climbed the steps to a castle for an unforgettable view. The next village we had a great lunch while those who wanted to swim had a chance. I will admit but the time we got to the last village, given the choice of climbing up to a lava flow or walking on a flat level to see the shops and old town, we chose not climbing. All told this was a very nice 12 hour trip.

We recently went on the day trip to Cinque Terre. Valentina was our tour guide and she was awesome! She had great info and tips, and was very organized. You spend about 45 min-1 hour in 3 of the 4 towns, and in the 4th town you get 2-2.5 hours (depending on if the train is running on time) which allows time for swimming and lunch. This is a bit rushed but that is all that can be accommodated in the full day. Sadly it seems that most of the towns are very commercialized towards the tourists so in some places this short time is enough. This tour takes you to 4 of the 5 towns to get an idea of them- you aren’t able to hike between the towns on this particular tour. If you are short on time, this is a great, well organized tour to allow you to see Cinque Terre. A few changes could be made to improve the tour somewhat. The first is that you meet at the bus station in Florence. There are no food places or restaurants nearby, and this tour leaves early in the morning. What would be better is to do what some other companies do- meet/check in at the train station so that you can use the facilities while you’re waiting, then walk to the bus terminal when everyone has checked in. There are no restrooms on the bus which is strange- I have taken tours in multiple countries including European countries and the charter bus always has facilities in it. Lastly the tour is not cheap yet you are asked to pay for water should you want it. Usually tour companies give you 1 bottle included for an all day tour and then after that you’re on your own. It is quite cheap of them to not offer one bottle given the price of the tour. Overall, we would recommend this tour and our excellent guide if you are short on time but want to visit this beautiful area of Italy. Just be aware of the negatives posted above.

We very much enjoyed this tour, particularly the breakfast we had, walking about the villages, the churches, swimming in the sea, the boat tour and buying local wines from knowledgeable people Valentina was superb, and some of the history of the area was fascinating Toilets and wifi on the bus would have been nice

The trip was so exciting and fun even though we only saw two villages instead of four. The excursion by boat rather than by train was not a loss but a huge gain. We would strongly recommend this as a must see.

Some confusion to start off the day with wrong stickers given to wrong group resulted in no room on bus for right group. Our guide handled it with so much ease and patience. She quickly got it sorted out. She handled the whole day with ease and patience. Each village was packed with tourists, a little overwhelming at times. Happy for the downtime on bus ride back to Florence. We saw everything we wanted to see so the time allotted to each village was perfect. Packed trains and wonderful boat ride on Mediterranean worked well. Thank you to our driver Gabriel and guide, a most wonderful woman originally from Slovakia whose name I can’t remember or spell. Thank you.

The Cinque Terre is amazing! This trip lets you explore four of the villages on your own with just the right amount of direction from a guide. Our guide, Constantino, was incredibly friendly, funny and knew so much about the region. The water is divine so don't pass on the option to go swimming!

Katrina and Marco were amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable. Cinque Terre exceeds our expectations. It was extermely hot but went swimming in Monterosso. Great Lunch and the wine tasting in Nervazza was very good. Ferry up the coast line topped off a wonderful tour.

Amazing day trip, we upgraded to include lunch the food and boat, the food was brilliant! Luca was a great guide and made the tip so much better ciao ciao Luca! The towns were stunning with great opportunity to have a dip in the water and hop on the boat. My only wish was that it was longer but couldn't fault honestly was amazing.

I went on this tour on Sunday May 5th, and it was thunder showers and pouring rain most of the day. However, we were still able to get to picturesque views and our lovely tour guide Maria ensured there were many alternative activities to do outside of the rain.

Our guide Luca was awesome. We did bus, few train rides and a boat ride too...Luca's coordination, planning and energy level was amazing and I have so much respect for him. This trip is completely worth the money and actually really cheap compared to how much planning it requires. I loved Cinque Terre. It was one of the best places I visited along with Tuscany. Ciao.

Seat belts missing in coach and not a lot of time at the villages. Lunch was appalling and local wine excelled in it's mediocracy. The villages are quite interesting but terribly overcrowded. I expect this was made worse as it was over Easter, but they do not have very much to offer other than eateries and souvenir shops. Boat trip on the coastal ferry was enjoyable. But overall it is probably too far to travel for a day trip.

Our group of 9 really enjoyed this trip. The bus trip ( about 2 hours) was relaxing and comfortable. The skies cleared just as we arrived in Cinque Terre, which made the day that much better. The guide gave very clear instructions on when and where to meet after seeing each village. There was ample time in each village to stroll, shop, grab a bite or a drink, or take pictures. Due to rough seas we were unable to take the boat ride. We also chose the included lunch which was really pretty good, and included wine. We would absolutely recommend this trip, just hope you get good weather because that really makes a difference.

A very different sort of hiking. Even the most experienced hiker will find stretches which are pretty challenging. Overall a picturesque and daring hike.

Although it rained all day it was still a fun trip. The scenery was magnificent and our tour guides Antonella and Marco were great. So thoughtful and always checking in to see if we needed anything

Monterosso was not available due to storms that made it unsafe. Recd email the day before the tour advising, and refunding lunch. I happened to read further in this email and discovered trip departure point had changed from train to bus station. If the Monterosso problem had not arisen we would gone to the wrong place and probably missed the trip. We should have been advised by separate email of this change to our original booking. Trip leader got us to the other villages ok but provided little historical or other context.

We got to experience the beauty of these islands travelling with a bus, train and boat. The villages have so much history and the views are breathtaking.

We were left stranded at one of the villages as the guide gave really bad directions and was not actually "guiding" When we arrived at the station, she did not tell us which train to get on, We thought we had some time to spend so we were at the line waiting for toilet and she just left with the rest of the group. There were 4 of us and we had to buy our own tickets to get back to Florence. Complete useless guide. I will tell as many people as I can about this tour and make sure a few people as possible will travel with this guide.

Beautiful landscapes and history together. Definitely one place to visit in a lifetime. This time of the year is the less visited by tourist so is a great idea take this into account if you don't want big crowds.
