Two part walking tour: we began with the Accademia to see the David followed by a tour of the religious, political and historical sites of the city. This portion lasted about 3.5 hours and we met again after our independant lunches for a tour of the Uffizi. Both guides were superb, animated and knowleagable of their topics and helped make this tour a worthwhile and fascinating experience. Highly recommended!

Each tour had its own guide. Both guides combined extreme knowledge with a great sense of humor to create an interesting and memorable experience.

Absolutely a must if you like some wonder explanations on what you're viewing. Ciara (Clare in English) was absolutely brilliant and her knowledge was exemplary. She set a easy manageable pace and had a wonderful sense of humor. Well worth the money. Also glad we did each tour as split tours one am one pm with a great lunch in between

We had very competent and knowledgeable tour guides, Valentia at the Uffizi and Clara for our walking tour. However, both the description of the tour and meeting place was not represented well. Make sure you understand this is a combo tour that has one and a half hours at the Uffizi and a three hour walking/David tour with 4 hours between individual tours. When we booked the instructions for meeting times and places where very confusing and took 2 additional emails to the tour company to assure we showed up in the right places at the right times. Many other participants showed up in the wrong places or missed tours all together.

Our guide was fantastic and keep everything moving well and got us to some good spots to view David even though the crowd was massive. Skip the line tours are worth it also. The walking tour was informative not too exhausting.

There are 2 seperate tours. Really enjoyed both. Well worth it and recomended. Paul Csta was exceptionally good. Rather than talking at us he asked us lots of questions and made his tour an exchange.

Annette did a great job of revealing many insights into Florence from the museums to life in Florence. We really appreciated her perspective and getting us to see so much of the museums early in the day. We also appreciated her depth of knowledge. Thank you, Annette!

1st and last Viator tour. I've been doing tours for the better part of 3 decades and this is the worst overall tour I have ever taken, by far. Complete and total rip off. Morning David tour was good. Guide, who's name I can't remember, was good. Very friendly and insightful. We were done around 11:30 or so, with the scheduled afternoon session to start at 1:15. We met our next nameless guide at 1:15. She was nice as well. We were told the tour would last 90 minutes. Presumably this meant actual touring. It did not. We finally got in line, though we paid for no line, at around 1:30ish. We were in line and in the security checkpoint nitemare of an area until just before 2. This was an absolute traffic nightmare with zero organization. This was the gallery's doing, not the guide. We walked up the stairs and saw our 1st artwork in the hallway at 2:03. I know this b/c my 1st photo is time stamped. We were in the cafeteria and the end of our tour at 2:40. Are you kidding me? Less than 40 minutes of touring in the actual gallery? Outrageous. We saw less than 10 pieces of art and we were raced from room to room to see those less than 10 pieces. Granted, we had post tour access to tour the museum ourselves, but I paid to be toured. Total and complete scam. I will advise all my friends to avoid Viator and post where I can the same. Save your $ and find a tour on airbnb. Avoid Viator at all costs.

The first tour was the best of Florence. That was a nice tour, and the tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The second tour was of the Uffitizi Gallery. The gallery itself was very nice to visit, however the tour guide was the most boring tour guide ever. When she described anything in the gallery she talked about it forever!! We stayed 2.5 hours into the tour and then had to leave for another tour. I would recommend you going to the Gallery by yourself. The hand out devices to tell you about each item and you can do it on your own time.

Sara G. our guide to the Uffizi gallery was wonderful, very nice, lots of energy, and with a lot of knowledge about art. I traveled with my granddaughter, and we learned so much from her. Angela was our guide for the Academia Gallery, unfortunately I realized just before the tour that I had lost my wallet, I was anxious and even though the David is superb, I didn't enjoy myself so much. My granddaughter loved it. As we exit everybody went for a gelato, and Angela knowing I did not have any cash bought one for my granddaughter. She also called the two taxi companies to see if I had left my wallet there. Thank you Angela for caring and trying to help!

Great tour. The guide in the morning was fantastic and very knowledgeable. She was very passionate about Florence. The guide in the afternoon was ok but I felt the afternoon tour was a bit rushed but you do get time to go around on your own at the end too.

Overall, this tour (both 1/2s) were excellent. The tour guides were excellent and their english was perfect. I am giving a 4 of 5 because the meeting instructions were so poor that we went to the wrong meeting place, along with a few others. We showed up for the morning segment at the afternoon meeting spot, so we literally had to run to the other museum in a short amount of time. I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed getting a taste of Florence. Both of our guides shared lots of information. Sarah and Michael (I am horrible with names) gave us great tips for the rest of our stay too. I would suggest taking the morning tour because you walk in the city first then end with the museum. You are able to stay and explore further.

The guides for both of these tours were EXCELLENT. Very people friendly and very knowledgeable so I am glad I felt as if the investment was definitely worth it. I just wish the time frames for each part were clearer in the descriptive info, so we knew when the 4:40 part was estimated to be over.

It was overall a good tour and the skip-the line feature helped get into the Gallery a little bit sooner. The crowd for our 8:00 am time slot was big!. Overall very informative....

Walking tour was super. Our guide Matt was terrific - so knowledgeable about the city, history and the connections among art, religion and architecture. I would give him 5 STARS and more! Didn’t want the tour with him to end because he was informative, engaging, and clearly loved sharing his passion for Firenze with us. The Uffizi gallery tour was disappointing - would give our guide Angela 2 STARS. She certainly knows art, but was more focused on getting done quickly, making sure she got our headsets back, and keeping the group together. We were told it would be a 1 hour 45 minute tour, but we were done in about an hour. What we did see was definitely interesting, but it feels like there was so much more there we could have had the opportunity to learn about. Disappointing!

The first part of the tour was for The Accademia and a tour of areas in that vicinity. Stefano led the tour. He may have provided wonderful information but because he refused to effectively use the microphone, we missed much of whatever was said. The microphone was attached to his scarf which kept sliding around. In addition to this, he moved his head frequently away from the microphone. We mentioned numerous times that we could not hear, as did others. We give the morning portion of the tour with him a 1. The afternoon tour was led by Angelo. He was outstanding. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, he was sure to keep the microphone in front of his month at all times, even when turning and gesturing. His portion of the tour is a 5+. We were very appreciative of all the knowledge he shared. Truly an outstanding experience with Angelo.

We took the 08.30 tour initially. We didn't have to queue, except for security screening. The guides were pleasant and knowledgeable. We didn't get to go inside the Duomo, but I'm not sure whether that wad a part of the tour or not. It was a public holiday weekend, so the opening times were different.

Very informed guides......These were two tours put together. First just Uffizi in the morning with one guide and then after a break around the city and Accademia with another guide. They showed us all the highlights.....it was perfect! Wear good walking shoes....it is a long day on the feet!

Headphones were not comfortable and guide spoke so fast (hardly took a breath and did not really check in to see if the group was understanding, had questions, etc.) that it was hard to understand and learn. We left after first 30 min inside the museum.
