L'avventura privata di Outlander inizia con un prelievo mattutino dall'hotel nel centro di Edimburgo. Incontra la guida esperta e parti per esplorare le selvagge Highlands scozzesi e i luoghi in cui è stata girata la famosa serie fantasy della Starz. Lungo il tragitto, immergiti nei dettagli dello show, tratto dalla serie di Diana Gabaldon che narra di un'infermiera della seconda guerra mondiale che si ritrova nella Scozia del '700 durante l'insurrezione giacobita.

La prima tappa è l'incantevole cittadina di Falkland, annidata tra le Lomond Hills. Passeggia attraverso la città che è stata utilizzata per rappresentare l'Inverness del 1947 e vedi la chiesa usata per la parrocchia di Danleigh, fermandoti per una foto fuori dal Campells Café. Dopo il tour guidato, esplora autonomamente la cittadina dove la giovane Maria Stuarda trascorse i giorni più felici della sua infanzia! Avrai anche tempo per pranzare (a tue spese).

Dopo pranzo, prosegui verso il castello medievale di Doune, il fittizio castello di Leoch in Outlander. Apprendi delle sanguinose battaglie del XVIII secoli che si sono svolte durante l'insurrezione giacobita, sia versioni fittizie sia reali. Scatta alcune fotografie all'esterno del castello oppure partecipa a un tour facoltativo all'interno (a tue spese).

In seguito, dirigiti a Culross (anche noto come Cranesmuir), dove vivevano i personaggi di Geillis e Arthur Duncan, quindi prosegui verso la casa di Jamie Fraser: Lallybroch. Bonus! Il tour privato garantisce l'accesso esclusivo alla location di Lallybroch.

My guide was Gerry and he personally made this experience unforgettable. He was dressed in his kilt and was immediately wanting to know where we wanted to go and see and guided our trip to our interests. He was so knowledgable about the books as well as the tv series. He gave us so many stories and facts that our day was filled to the brim .I can not imagine this tour without Gerry.

Worth every cent! Would do it again in a heartbeat. Most amazing tour guide funny, informative and took us to places we never could have found on our own. Take the whole family...it will be the highlight of our vacation.

We went on a brilliant bespoke Outlander adventure. Tony our guide was ever helpful, charming and knowledgeable about Outlander and more scottish history. We stopped at delightful Outlander locations but also beautifully preserved traditional scottish villages, which otherwise wouldn't have made it onto the tourist map. This was a fabulous day trip we took August 18. The kilt-wearing Tony gave us a well-informed experience. He is truly a Scotsman that loves his country and it shows in his knowledge of the 'Outlander' series and the facts he presented about the show and the locations where it is filmed. It was a glorious day! Tony exposed us to the real jewels of Scotland - and we will never be the same! You won't be disappointed taking a tour with Tony. The tour was outstanding. Gerry our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the show and exactly what happened at each site, producing pictures and pointing out exactly where everything happened. But more importantly, the beautiful places we saw in the Scottish countryside could not be equaled and Gerry gave us the history and character of these great little towns. This is a day that cannot be missed.
