Pernottamento a Killarney.

Tour started out great, but on the second day our bus and driver left and another bus picked us up. The second bus was already pretty full of a continuing 6-day tour, so we had to take the few single seats available and could not sit together. Also, much time wasted dropping people off at various accommodations each day and sorting out luggage. A few changes were made in the itinerary due to "traffic."

This was an amazing tour! Dan, our driver loves his homeland and was so great sharing information and history. We experienced so much in a short fast paced 4 days. I would do it again in a minute! The southern part of the country is breathtaking and gorgeous. I can't wait to visit Ireland again and see more. Take some snacks and enjoy the ride around the country. Dermot was our first driver and he was just as helpful. The staff is very friendly.

This tour EXCEEDED my expectations. I had never done an organized tour, but needed to show my mom a lot or Ireland in only a few days. This was absolutely the way to go! Strongly recommend. You see so much and you have time in all of the places you go.

The tour was excellent. Accommodations, timing, information were perfect. Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and personal. He negotiated the narrow, windy roads with ease. The people on the trip were friendly and inclusive. I appreciated that as a solo traveler.

This was an incredible experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see the beautiful country of Ireland. The accommodations at the Bed and Breakfasts were very comfortable. The first day we experienced the beautiful scenery of SW Ireland and spent the night in Galway with time to explore the town. On our next day, we went to the Cliffs of Moher which were truly spectacular. The views and the winds were equally impressive. The dinner at the Randy Leprechaun Pub next to the B and B was really great. On the third day, we took the drive around the Dingle Peninsula with the very narrow !! roads, and the views were amazing. We took a wonderful carriage ride through Killarney State Park and spent the night in Killarney. Our final day was spent traveling to Blarney Castle, which was unique to say the least, and finally a great tour of the Guinness Storehouse with a pint of Guinness!! What a great way to end a truly memorable 4 days. Our review would not be complete without an acknowledgement of our outstanding driver and guide Rory. He made the travels extremely interesting, and his driving skills were impeccable!!

Our guide, Brian, was great. We got a taste of south west Ireland without having to drive on those roads! However . . . the literature made it sound like we actually visited some places where we only had a chance to photograph from the road. Ashford and Dungaire Castles I would have liked more free time in the places we did stop - we only had a short time to walk in the Burrens because another tour member specially requested we go back and get off the bus. It was raining at the time but hadn't been raining when we originally drove past without stopping. We skipped the photo stop at Bunratty Castle. From the literature I assumed the jaunting cart ride at Killarney National Park was included in the price but we had to pay separately. At Dingle we had to choose between taking the boat ride or visiting the shops - not enough time for both. Some people ate lunch first and did not have enough time to do the boat ride. At Blarney we only had enough time to either explore the gardens OR kiss the stone - didn't even have time for lunch at the site. Could easily have spent longer at the Cliffs of Moher. I felt like we were hurried along so that we'd get to our evening stop before traffic increased - would have preferred to spend more time AT our stops and less time at our overnight spots.
