Private Half-Day Thai Style Flower Handicraft Class in Chiang Mai

Itinerary

Following a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai to our studio, you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and light refreshments to begin your private Thai flower handicraft experience.

We will start by introducing you to various forms and applications of Thai flower handicraft and common instruments. Then you will learn about a variety of flowers and plant leaves available in Thailand, and also how to choose and prepare them for handicraft works.

Along with the session, you will get to create 2 handicrafts, basic Thai style flower garland and bouquet made from folded petal lotus. With careful instruction from us, you will learn traditional handicraft techniques in a step by step manner. Workshop size is limited to 4 people to ensure that you can spend your time unhurriedly working with your handicrafts, receiving individualized advice and guidance along the way.

When your handicraft class is finished, you can take your own handicraft pieces home with you which you can offer them to temples in Chiang Mai. I will also email you your pictures taken during our class. At the end of the workshop, you will receive a drop-off back at your hotel to conclude your experience.
