Dopo il prelievo mattutino dal tuo hotel di Bruxelles, inizia la tua giornata con un tragitto di 1 ora e mezza a bordo di un minivan di lusso verso la città di Henri-Chapelle. Durante il viaggio potrai ascoltare la guida spiegare la storia della Seconda Guerra Mondiale e condividere i dettagli e le storie sull'offensiva delle Ardenne.

Giunto al cimitero e memoriale americano di Henri-Chapelle, potrai vedere dove riposano quasi 8.000 soldati americani. Segui fila dopo fila le tombe con i nomi degli uomini che hanno perso la vita qui.
Continua lungo la linea del fronte nord-orientale della battaglia verso le città di Büllingen e Bütgenbach, dove si erge un memoriale per onorare i soldati di fanteria della prima divisione, la più antica dell'esercito statunitense.
Visita quindi il sito del famoso massacro di Malmedy, durante il quale le forze tedesche di Hitler uccisero brutalmente 84 americani prigionieri di guerra. Sosta per il pranzo (a tue spese) prima di raggiungere le città di La Gleize e Houffalize per vedere i carri armati tedeschi Tiger II e Panther, quasi intatti. Potrai anche vedere dove è sepolto il generale americano George Smith Patton, a Hamm, insieme a oltre 5.000 soldati americani.
Avventurati nei boschi delle Ardenne per vedere le trincee difensive nascoste costruite dai soldati durante la battaglia. Qui troverai un monumento in onore della 101esima divisione aviotrasportata.
Commemora i 76.890 soldati americani morti o feriti durante l'offensiva delle Ardenne presso il Mardasson Memorial e il museo della guerra di Bastogne. Termina con una visita alla piazza McAuliffe a Bastogne, chiamata in onore del generale americano Anthony Clement "Nuts" McAuliffe, che difese valorosamente la città dall'attacco tedesco.

The guide did a wonderful job. Was a great tour. The guide explained locations in detail. We hot out and looked at the fox holes and other reminents left from the war.

An excellent tour with a guide who really knows the battlefields. I was with a strange group, all others from the US, but all marked by the most singular lack of curiosity I have ever seen. Our guide did his best, but there were hardly any questions from others in the group, few comments, and bare minimum interactions. I guess I had expected to share the tour with other military history geeks who would want to discuss what had happened during the Bulge. The battle covered a lot of territory, so the tour had a lot of driving time and was a long day.

This was all I hoped for. We started out at Elsenborn Ridge, the Northern shoulder of he Bulge, then hooked up at the site of the Malmedy Massacre, then retraced the exact route of Kampfgruppe Peiper until he was cornered and his battlegroup destroyed. You really understand how destroying the few bridges strong enough to bear the weight of heavy tanks was crucial in the battle. Then south to Luxembourg to visit a giant cemetery where Patton is buried, then North to Bastogne where there is a big new museum about the battle for Bastogne. A long day, but all I wished for.

I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. This is a long tour, but it is the only way you would be able to see all of these sites. It would take days to find them on your own. Excellent job!

We enjoyed our trip with our guide, Jean. Despite having only the two of us on this particular tour, he did not cancel as he well could have. He was well versed in the area and did an excellent job of a lot of driving! Our only reason for not giving this tour a 5 star is the small amount of time spent at each site due to time constraints.
