Una guida di lingua inglese vi verrà a prendere nel vostro hotel di Bangkok alle 8:00. Partirete verso il parco storico di Ayutthaya. Questa che era una gloriosa capitale, situata a 80 km da Bangkok, fu distrutta dall'esercito birmano nel 1767 ed è oggi un sito patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO. Un grande numero di splendidi palazzi e templi vi aspettano.

Le principali attrazioni includono ila gigantesca statua in bronzo di Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, ma anche Wat Phra Sri Sanphet e Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon.

Potrete visitare gli splendidi Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon e Wat Lokayasutharam. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet è il principale complesso di templi eredità dell'età dell'oro di Authaya. Visitate l'antico palazzo e Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, uno dei più grandi Buddha in bronzo della Thailandia.

A mezzogiorno potrete godervi un gustoso pranzo thailandese (incluso). Successivamente, visiterete lo splendido Wat Mahthat, uno dei più imponenti antichi monasteri buddisti. Questo tempio è situato sulla riva del fiume Chao Praya. Re Prasatthong autorizzò la costruzione dell'edificio dall'architettura in stile Khmer. È uno dei templi più belli di Ayutthaya e un'importante attrazione turistica. Potrete ammirare il palazzo di Bang Pa-In, l'ex palazzo reale, rifugio estivo del Re di Ayutthaya nel XVII secolo.

Passeggiate per i magnifici terreni del Palazzo d'estate di Bang Pa-In. Gli edifici affacciati sui canali sono una curiosa miscela stili europei del XX secolo che contrastano con il padiglione sino-tailandese.

Our guide was very friendly and highly informative. Miss Supatsara Wonghong continually ensured that we were having a good time and that we had what we needed to enjoy the tour, whether that be water, an umbrella to escape the heat, or easy access to a restroom.

The only way to see Ayutthaya is with a guide and driver. The city is very expansive and without a guide it would be overwhelming. Rose spoke excellent English and was able to shepherd us through the archeology, provide spiritual context, explain the history of who built the city as well as the stories of many invasions. We covered many areas and each was more beautiful than the one before. I should also mention the amazing buffet lunch. It was an extraordinary day made meaningful with the help of our guide and driver. As I said at the beginning, this is the only way to visit Ayutthaya.

firstly about the company - this was the 3rd time i used Mam Holidays Ltd for a tour in Bangkok. Very professional and prompt. . The cars are very comfortable, driver is good and guides knowledgeable. After visiting over 60 countries and doing tours in most, i have found the best guides are passionate about their country/city, and the guides that work for Mam Holidays Ltd certainly are, especially the lady that i've had as a tour guide twice Miss Supatsara Wonghong Khun Aey. As far as the sites go, if you like temples and palaces this is a must from Bangkok. I've included some pics so you know what you will see.

Tour guide was nice and considerate, but her English was so bad we couldn't understand 90 of the things she said, nor could she understand most of our questions. There's not real added value than hiring a taxi and tour around myself.

We had the best time with Aey in Ayutthaya -- wonderful service where she and her driver picked us up from our hotel in Bangkok and embarked on a day long trip in Ayutthaya. First we saw the summer palace and then we visited three Wats, in addition to picking up lunch. Because my mother was not feeling well, Aey was very considerate about the amount of walking, and also arranged for a vegetarian meal for lunch not easy in Thailand!. Aey was also easy to understand, and she also played the role of our photographer during the tour. Highly recommended, and extremely good value for the price.
