Parti alla scoperta di Ayuthaya, patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO ed ex capitale della Thailandia. Ayuthaya è una destinazione da non perdere assolutamente, oltre che un porto storico che ha subito le influenze culturali di Cina, Giappone, Indonesia, Portogallo, Olanda, Francia e Scandinavia.
Il tour inizia presso il Palazzo d'Estate del defunto re Rama V. Prosegue quindi fino alle magnifiche rovine dell'antica città di Ayuthaya, patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO. La città fu fondata dal re Ramathibodi I nel 1350 e fu capitale del paese fino alla sua distruzione ad opera dell'esercito birmano nel 1767.
Rientrerai a Bangkok con stile, navigando lungo il fiume Chao Phraya a bordo di una comoda nave da crociera dotata di aria condizionata e gustando un delizioso pranzo a buffet. All'arrivo a Bangkok nel tardo pomeriggio sarai riaccompagnato in hotel.

My husband and I had taken this tour before and really enjoyed it, so when our kids came to visit us in Bangkok we decided to take them on it. What a difference this time. Here is what you need to know that they don't tell you. First - no where on the site does it say that you MUST have your legs fully covered. NO SHORTS. Before when we went, shorts to the knees were fine. Not this time. We all had to go into the gift shop and buy long elehant pants before we could go to see the Summer Palace. Next - half of the Summer Palace is closed. The beautiful Wat/temple is fully hidden behind construction and half of the palace was inclosed in scafolding... leaving you the gardens to see. That was very disappointing. The guide spoke pretty good English, but the microphone used on the bus was terrible and muffled what he said. Off the bus he did not use any kind of microphone so unless you stood right by him, you couldn't hear anything he said. Ayuthaya, ofcourse was amazing, and the cruise back was great with good food.

Great tour at good pace. Given time to explore sites on own for 20 minutes after getting information from guide. Unbelievably amazing beauty and history, River boat cruise nice as well and nice lunch. Highly recommend!!
