Me, my husband and another couple, all seniors, were really looking forward to this evening canal cruise. The description sounded absolutely wonderful however we were underwhelmed. Before departing the dock, I decided to use the onboard WC, thinking sooner better than later. The dimly lit 3' x 4', if that, cubicle already stank. It probably had not been cleaned from earlier cruises during the day. Our tour operator, Rebecca, had limited knowledge of the sites on the tour. I knew as much as she knew, if not more, because of a bus tour we had taken on our first day. She would reference the right or left banks, but never clarified whose right or left. Rebecca frequently attempted humor to cover her lack of knowledge. It was apparent our party was not the sole group disappointed. Many around us stopped trying to listen to her and simply talked among themselves. A couple of tables close by could be heard commenting on her lack of knowledge and ability to indicate the appropriate side of the canal to view. The cruise provides unlimited wine and beer, however, the selected wines were not good. Perhaps they should consider offering an introductory freebie of a quality wine and charging full or discount for additional consumption.

Lots of fun, staff were great and the wine and cheese were plentiful. I had mentioned on the booking it was my wifes 30th and they set up a table at the frint of the boat. Nice touch.

Very great tour and night for an evening cruise. Myself and my girlfriend really enjoyed the experience and sight-seeing, it was really cool to see the canals and Amsterdam at night on a perfect weather wise evening. The wine was flowing, the nuts were good, nice pictures taken, this was a great tour and worth doing when in town!
